Card with a Tag

Hello!  I made this Christmas card with a tag that I attached to an embossed panel. With a few changes, I recreated the tag design in the same way (see post here from 2019) that I had made earlier with Gina K Designs stamps and dies and a Basket Weave stamp from Just for Fun stamps.  Had all the stamps since 2018/2019.   Used a bit of ribbon, twine and even a smaller tag on the tag. I embossed and inked a white panel with Darice EF Pine Branches before attaching the tag.  Finished with a card base of Fresh Asparagus CS and more GKD sentiments.

Stocking Tags

Hello!  I made the tags above using Power Poppy Stocking stamp from the Poinsettia set.  I stamped the stocking on white CS and colored with Copics.  Since I wanted more than one tag, I copied the image after I colored it and printed it so my tags all look the same.  I trimmed the tags with a Spellbinders die and attached to die cut mats from Green CS.  Punched holes and added red satin ribbon.  Hope I did not break any rules by making copies of my design since I am using for my personal need.

Christmas Poinsettias

Hello! Baby It's COLD outside! About 9 degrees this morning.  I finished the last of my Calendars that I make for gifts and decided to play with some digital images that I bought from The Artsytamper Shop. I made these Christmas tags using a Poinsettia Image, a sentiment, and a border that I cut from one of the pattern papers all in my purchase.  I printed them on white CS, trimmed the tags,  and added a mat of green card stock.  Finished with red satin ribbon and a touch of gold stickles.

Basket Tags

Welcome to the studio!  I am playing with the challenge at Tag You're It! shown below.  I was inspired to create  basket like tags filled with holiday greenery and berries.  I started with a Just For Fun Basket stamp that I stamped with DOI Walnut Stain on white CS and colored in with Copics.  I trimmed out 2 "baskets" using a paper trimmer, corner punch, and oval die.  I filled the baskets with holly, pine cones, and greenery stamped and die cut with Gina K Designs from Merry & Bright and Seasonal Sentiment stamp and die sets. Used Rich Cocoa, Cottage Ivy, Northern Pine, and Love Letter Memento inks.  Finished with some ribbon and twine.  Tags from Kraft paper were tied into the Basket.

Playing with Gingerbread

Hello! Welcome to my latest paper projects!  I baked up some Gingerbread items including a card and some tags.  I used a recent purchase from Power Poppy - her Gingerbread Family digital stamps and a sentiment from Chickadee in Barberry set.   I created the above card by printing out the GB House with the GB Couple and Sentiment on white CS and coloring with Copics and adding accents with White and Red Berry Gloss Nuvo Crystal Dots.  Placed this on a Fresh Asparagus Green Mat and a card base of Red Velvet.  Aren't they the cutest Gingerbread Couple?
Above is the first tag that I made with the Gingerbread Man using pretty much the same supplies as the card. The I created another pair of tags shown below.  Love how the Crystal drops look like icing. Fun to make!  Tags finished with Eyelets and Baker Twine for tying and mats of Red CS.

Gift Box for a Tag

Hello!  What a frosty morning here in Ohio!  It's cold enough to make one have thoughts of Christmas.  And thinking of making tags for Christmas gifts.  I was trying to think of something different than my usual tag shape and came across a GKD stamp in Melanie's Beyond Baskets 2 - a box lid with ribbon- and decided to create a gift box as my tag.  This one measures about  3" X 3.5".
The tag featured above was my best design using GKD Red Velvet CS using Versamark and gold EP for stamping the lid and words.  I fussy cut the top of the lid and bow and cut the paper in the shape of a box adding one score line.  Used a red velvet ribbon for this one by tying a knot in the center of the ribbon and pulling the ends through  a hole in the center of the stamped bow.   I wanted the ribbon for the tag to look like part of the bow and not just pulled through a hole.

Another tag was made with the same Red Velvet CS but I used a Gold Metallic ribbon. See photo below.

I used GKD heavyweight white CS for the first ones I made shown below. These were stamped with Memento red ink.  I colored the ribbon on one with red Copics and added some sparkle with Clear Star pen.  On the second white one I stamped the ribbon and bow on the Red CS and fussy cut and  attached to the white box. Used ribbons of Red Organza with Gold Thread and Gold Organza.
Sentiment stamp is from Joyful Holiday and To and From stamps also from Beyond Basket 2.
Note: I won the Beyond Baskets 2 Set from Melanie some time ago.

Christmas Set

Hello!  Playing with more Christmas cards and Challenges.  This matching card and tag set was made with Gina K stamps from A Year of Flowers, Joyful Holidays (sentiment) and Beyond Baskets (To & From).   The poinsettia was stamped 3 times with Versamark on the edge of GKD heavyweight white CS. I heat embossed with Gold EP.  I fussy cut the outer edge after coloring with Copics and added a strip of Gold Metallic CS to the inside.  Finished with Gold embossed sentiment layered on the Gold Metallic CS.  The tag was made in a similar way with heat embossing and fussy cutting.  Edged with Pilot Gold Marker and added Gold Metallic ribbon.

Christmas Tag and Card

Hello!   This tag was inspired by challenge #73 at Tag You're It! shown on left.  I used Distress Oxide inks and Emboss Resist similar to the way that featured artist Tracey did but I made my theme Christmas using stamps from a freebie set from Quick Cards and Die cuts from Cheery Lynn. Used Worn Lipstick and Salty Ocean Distress Oxide inks.  Other supplies were Versamark Ink, White EP, White Cardstock, and White Satin Ribbon.
I also created a card with a tag by using a White Card Base and a layer of White CS embossed with Darice Snowflakes EF and inked the raised areas with Salty Ocean Distress Oxide ink.  I added some shine to this tag with a Metallic Gold Jelly Pen and Sakura Clearstar Pen.

Play Along With Tag You're....It!

As Guest Designer on  Tag You're It, I made a tag for the reminder for challenge #60 inspired by Featured Designer Diane Jaquay shown below.

Similar to Diane's Tag, I created an ombre background tag using Distress Inks but used a Christmas theme instead of a Thankful theme.  Before sponging the  background, I  stamped and embossed a Gina K Design Mistletoe  stamp with Versamark ink and white EP.  I added a sentiment from Annabelle  that I also embossed and sponged before trimming. I attached a Flourish die cut from Glossy White CS with a Cheery Lyn die beneath the sentiment.  The tag was layered with White Glossy CS and finished with a dark Blue ribbon.
Please check out the challenge and play along at Tag You're It
