Hello! I am glad that you stopped by.  Today I am sharing a card than I made with a Printable Design from Silhouette on my Cameo.  I sized the design to fit on my card and printed on White CS and trimmed. I used Polka Dot and  Heart pattern Washsi Tapes to complete the card using a Gray card base and a layer of Pink CS embossed with Cuttlebug Swiss Dots EF.  The card was finished with die cut words in pink cut with Cheery Lynn dies.

Butterfly Challenge: #36 Butterflies + W is for Washi Tape.  Used 2 patterns of Washi tape.
Mod Squad Challenge: Anything Goes plus using any brand of die that One Happy Cut sells.  I used Cheery Lynn dies.

Too Close To the Sketch?

Hello!  My card today is made for the CAS(E) this Sketch graphic on the right.  I know I took the design literally and stamped circles copying the sketch.  I just had that design stuck in my mind as I stamped multiple colors using Large and small Circle stamps from GKD Inspiration Mosaic and Candles for Your Cake.  Yes, I did use actual rubber stamps that I have.  I first thought of using erasers on the end of pencils but then I remembered the GKD stamps.  My colors used were inspired by the Photo Inspiration from Addicted to Stamps. I also added some embossing to the lower edge for texture which also follows the circles theme.
Supplies: Memento Dandelion, Cantaloupe, Tangelo, Morocco inks: White, Yellow, and Orange CS from stash,  Cheery Lynn Happy Birthday Dies.

CAS(E) this Sketch: #133 shown on upper right
Addicted to Stamps: #155 Photo Inspiration.  Used colors of flowers in my card. The cluster of circles mimic the shape of the flowers in an abstract way.
Cheery Lynn Challenge: #195 Anything Goes.  This is a very different style card that I usually make for Cheery Lynn Challenges but it is Anything Goes,  so why not enter it?

Lavender with Dragonflies

Welcome to my studio!  It looks like another hot day to spend some time making more cards.  My design today is for the sketch challenge at Sketch Saturday and also for the Power Poppy challenge.  I used the Power Poppy stamp set Lavender that I stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored with Copics and Memento Markers.  The word Lavende was stamped in Memento Lulu Lavender ink.  The 4 pattern papers used are from GCD Studio Journeys paper pad by Kathy Davis.  My color choices look like they were inspired by the Power Poppy graphic shown below.  I finished with Dragonfly Brads and a touch of Grosgrain Ribbon.

Sending Love and Hugs

Hello!  I just arrived home after being in Tennessee visiting my Mother for a few days.  If we think it is hot here in Ohio,  it seems cool compared to the heat in TN.
I am trying to do some challenges between doing things that I really should be doing....working in the garden, laundry, housework, etc....
The card that I am posting was made with stamps from Repeat Impressions and I used the sketch from their challenge this week.  I only stamped a portion of the Floral Stamp ( eliminated the butterfly) but also used the individual butterfly and sentiment stamps.  My Black-Eyed Susan plants are now blooming so I was inspired by them to make this card.
Other supplies used: Memento Tuxedo Black ink, Copics Y21,YR21, YG03, G82, E07, E35; GKD Fresh Asparagus CS; White and Black CS; Fancy Pants Pattern paper; Square and Circle dies.

Tag! You're It.

I was playing with the challenge at Tag You're It! and was inspired to do a 2 layer tag using pattern paper (used for both layers) and to make with a 3D butterfly design.  I had this paper from 7 Gypsies pad Conservatory out on my desk and  decided to create with it.  Since I found this challenge, I think I will enjoy making more tags.
Other supplies used:  Memory Box Pippi Butterfly Dies; Cheery Lynn Butterfly, Angel Wings, and Word Dies; Yellow CS; Yellow Marker; Eyelet; Raffia; Hole Punch

A Basketful of Flowers

Hello!  Simon Says Wednesday Challenge is Get In Shape.  So, I thought getting on a bicycle might do the trick, but.... all we have to do is make a card that is not a square or rectangle.   That is easier then doing exercises!  I made my card round using Spellbinder Blossom Die and Lawn Fawn Stitched Circle Die.  But I did a bicycle theme with Papers and Such stamps from Basketful of Flowers set. I added some Flower Soft to the flowers in the basket, a bow, and some pink brads to the spokes.
Other Supplies: Pink and White CS, Memento Tuxedo Black and Rose Bud Inks, Pink Satin Ribbon, Green Gelly Roll Pen.

I must think that I have until Monday but this challenge closes on Sunday.  I made this card with Power Poppy stamps and pattern paper from 7 Gypsies Conservatory pad.  To qualify for the Power Poppy current challenge I needed to use at least 3 Patterns.  I pulled colors from the floral pattern for my design.

Yummy Cupcake with a Lot of Sunshine.

Hello!  The Photo image from the challenge at The Shabby Tea room has been stuck in my mind and I decided I just had to make a cupcake with yellow icing  for a card.  This is a very literal interpretation of the photo.  I cut out a cupcake from white CS using a Silhouette file on the Cameo.  I colored the stripes with Sakura Yellow glaze pen  and added "Icing" with a yellow Stickles and added glitter to that with Stickles yellow glue glitter. I attached the Cup Cake to a Pink Paislee  pattern paper from Color Wash pad and a base of White CS.  The sentiment from Power Poppy stamps was embossed with Wow California Sunshine EP.

Dream Up In the Sky

Hello!  Today I am playing with the Photo Inspiration challenge from The House That Stamps Built.  I knew I wanted to use the Hot Air Balloon stamps from Repeat Impressions on my card.  I pulled out a pattern paper from a Paper House pad At The Vineyard to create the quick background for the balloons.  I stamped the balloons with Memento Espresso Truffle ink and paper pieced 2 of them with Fancy Pants scraps and colored 2 with Copics.  I fussy cut the balloons and attached to the scene and stamped the Repeat Impressions sentiment with Memento Rich Cocoa ink.

Summer Sweets

A favorite sweet fruit of summer is strawberries, especially when served with cream.   A favorite stamp set of mine is Flourishes Strawberries that I have used for this sweet card.   I stamped the image with Memento Tuxedo Black ink on cream (ivory) CS and colored with Copics,  White Pencil, and Yellow Glaze pen.  The sentiment was stamped with SU Always Artichoke ink.  I cut this out with Spellbinders Devine Eloquence Die and attached to a Red card base.  A simple but elegant card.

Another Cabin in the Woods

Second Post Today
I have used the same stamps as in my previous post to create a One Layer Masculine card for the Less Is More challenge.  What guy does not like a trip to a cabin to spend some time fishing or other guy things?   After stamping the images with the technique Masking using Memento Rich Cocoa, I colored with Pencils and Markers.

Cabin in the Woods

It has been awhile since I did a scenic card so I thought I'd use stamps from GKD to make this for the Masking challenge at Stamp TV. I used 5 stamps from Life Is Good and Gifts of Sea (birds) and colored with Copics  and Markers. The cabin and landscape were stamped in Memento Rich Cocoa.  I embossed the bottom edge with Cuttlebug EF Wicker Weave border....but it might have been better without that. The sky was sponged with Memento Summer Sky ink. ( I added the birds to cover a smudge in the sky.)  Used Ivory and Fresh Asparagus CS.

Antique Bears

Hello!  Today I am using a stamp that I think I purchased at a garage sale years ago....I collect bear stamps as well as teddy bears.  I never used this one but thought of it when I was looking for something for a couple of challenges.  I stamped the Antique Bears from Hero Arts(1994) with Memento Rich Cocoa on White CS and colored with Copics.  I stamped the Flourishes sentiment from Kids Play with the same ink.  I assembled the card with Crate Paper pattern and White CS base following the Retro Rubber sketch shown below and added ribbons and buttons to complete.

More Christmas In July

Christmas In July challenges seem to be a popular  theme this month so I am making more cards for my Christmas stash and challenges.  I made this using a tree stamp from Penny Black Wonder Collection which I stamped on Ivory CS with Memento Olive Grove ink.  I added ornaments which are actually pattern papers punched with 2 sizes of hole punches and attached with glue. The star at the top of the tree is a Metal Star brad.  I placed the image on a pattern paper from Crate Paper Peppermint pad and adhered to a base card of Ivory.  My inspiration for the tree with ornaments, colors, and using the Peppermint print came from the graphic from Just Add Ink shown below.  Word dies are from Cheery Lynn.

Happy Penguin with a Gift

I have a really big Penguin to share today....he is the big focus of my card.  I normally would print a smaller version of this digi from Di's Digis that I had in my files but I decided to have him fill the card....after all he is for a challenge to use a penguin.  I colored the image with Copics and added some "Fur" to his hat with Stickles and stripes to his scarf with a Glaze pen. There is sparkle to the ribbon and fringe made with Clear Star pen but you know how hard that is to photograph and be able to see.  The Pattern Paper is from American crafts Hollyday pad as well as the sentiment which was printed on the margin of the paper.
