Card with a Tag

Hello!  I made this Christmas card with a tag that I attached to an embossed panel. With a few changes, I recreated the tag design in the same way (see post here from 2019) that I had made earlier with Gina K Designs stamps and dies and a Basket Weave stamp from Just for Fun stamps.  Had all the stamps since 2018/2019.   Used a bit of ribbon, twine and even a smaller tag on the tag. I embossed and inked a white panel with Darice EF Pine Branches before attaching the tag.  Finished with a card base of Fresh Asparagus CS and more GKD sentiments.

By The Sea

Hello! Welcome to my studio.  I decided to make a card with another Lighthouse stamp from my stash. This one is from Just for Fun, and I have had since 2010.  An Oldie but a Goodie.  I colored the image with Copics and a Blue inkpad for the sky. I trimmed the image with a stitched die by GKD and attached to a patterned paper scrap from Graphic 45 By the Sea pad. I attached this to a Navy card base that I embossed with a Cuttlebug Border EF and finished with another scrap from the same paper pad.

Take a Slice of Lemon and Make Cards

Hello!  I have an entry for Twofer #24 Card Challenge to use Fruit - use the same stamp, stencil, or die for the prompt on two different designs for two different occasions.  I decided to use a simple lemon slice stamp from Just For Fun to create 2 cards.  For one card I stamped the slice 3 times using masking with Memento inks and markers.  The sentiment was generated using Photoshop.  Added a border of dry embossing to give some texture. Finished with a lime Green cardstock. I will send this for a birthday.
For the second card, I created  flowers with the lemon slice stamp adding some stems and leaves with GKD stamps. Colored with Memento and Copic Markers.  Used Scalloped oval dies to trim the image and to frame  with Yellow cardstock. Attached to an Orange card base.  Finished with some glitter gems and the word Hello stamped and die cut with GKD stamp and dies.

Basket Tags

Welcome to the studio!  I am playing with the challenge at Tag You're It! shown below.  I was inspired to create  basket like tags filled with holiday greenery and berries.  I started with a Just For Fun Basket stamp that I stamped with DOI Walnut Stain on white CS and colored in with Copics.  I trimmed out 2 "baskets" using a paper trimmer, corner punch, and oval die.  I filled the baskets with holly, pine cones, and greenery stamped and die cut with Gina K Designs from Merry & Bright and Seasonal Sentiment stamp and die sets. Used Rich Cocoa, Cottage Ivy, Northern Pine, and Love Letter Memento inks.  Finished with some ribbon and twine.  Tags from Kraft paper were tied into the Basket.

Give Me a Lemon and I'll Make Cards

Welcome!  Today I am playing with a never before used Lemon/Lime Slice stamp from Just For Fun Rubber Stamps.  I have used it for 2 projects made for some challenges.  For the tag above I stamped the slice several times using Memento inks and Copics to color.  Also stamped and colored a Marcella Hawley Strawberry stamp and sentiments from the same set Strawberries.  Finished by rounding the corners with a punch and adding a mat of Yellow CS. The ribbon for this was found in my stash.

I used the lemon slice stamp again to create this CAS card.  Added orange stripes with a GKD stamp and finished with Hero Arts sentiment  using Memento Citrusy colored inks.  Finished with Bright Yellow card base.

Away at the Beach

Hello! Another hot day....good day to be by the ocean on the beach.  This best I could do was create a card with this tropical beach scene.  I used a stamp from Just For Fun called Sunset with  Palms. I stamped the image with Memento Toffee Crunch ink and colored with Copics.  I kept the colors on the lighter side since the sun is just beginning to set. Simply trimmed and attached to a yellow cardstock mat and a white card base.  Did not add a sentiment.  Will use the inside to write my greetings when I use the card.
PS: Sorry for the distortion in my photo.  The card is actually straight.

Silvery Holidays

Welcome!  The snow has finally ended outside but it is snowing on this card that was inspired by the challenge at Just For Fun Rubber Stamps, especially the card made by April on the DT.  I chose to use the same stamp that she used -JFF Tree Line stamp - but I only used a portion of the stamp to make a vertical card.  Using Versamark ink, I stamped the trees and a GKD sentiment on Navy CS and heat embossed with Silver EP.  Added some snow with Liquid pearls.  Edged the panel with Pilot Silver Marker ( often do this to eliminate the weight of  an extra layer of CS) and attached to a card base of Navy CS.  I won't get points for Design Originality but love the end results done in Blue and Silver.

Spooky House

Welcome to the haunted house at my studio!  Playing with a stamp from Just For Fun Stamps to create this spooky card.  I stamped the house with Memento Black Ink  and sponged the background with Distressed Oxide inks Faded Blue Jeans, Black Soot and Peeled Paint using masks. The moon was sponged with Fossilized Amber.  I colored the windows and door with Copic Markers.  Added words cut from Purple Glitter CS  with Cottage Cutz dies and some plastic confetti die cuts of the witch, spooky ghost, and Jack o 'lantern.

Simply Flowers

Hello! Today I am playing with a stamp that I won from Just For Fun stamps some time ago which  I have never used.  Thought it was about time to ink this lovely Nature's Bouquet stamp.  I decided to make a CAS card that highlighted the simplicity of the flowers.  On white CS, I stamped with GKD Amalgam, a new ink that I am trying with Copic Markers.  Simply colored with yellow markers and edged the white panel with Copic Black Marker.  The black gives the appearance of a black mat but without another layer and more weight to the card.  Added the Birthday sentiment ( from my stash of stamps) and a base card of GKD Yellow CS.  Really like the crisp and clean look of the finished card.
