Hello! I have another card for the Creative Confetti challenge to Be Inspired by one of the cards posted on the recent sneak peeks of their new stamp release. I was also inspired by cards created by Kelly shown on the right and linked here. I liked her beautiful designs in monochrome tones and the simple layouts. I inked several stamps from Power Poppy Countryside Bouquet Deluxe set with Distress Oxide ink Wilted Violet on White Card Stock. Since I forgot to mask a strip for the sentiment before stamping like Kelly did, I simply stamped the sentiment on a strip of white cardstock and attached over the image.

A Bouquet for Mom
Welcome to my blog! I was playing with a stamp from Flower Bouquets by Joanna Sheen and decided to create a design using water coloring. I stamped the image on watercolor paper with DOI Antique Linen and then colored it with a water brush using several Distress Oxide Inks. I fussy cut the bouquet and popped it up on a white cardstock base using white foam. Stamped the sentiment from the same stamp set with DOI.

Bouquet of Thanks
Hello! Playing with a color challenge that inspired this card. I printed Power Poppy Countryside Bouquet and colored with Copics. (I also have the Power Poppy clear stamp set but used the digital image and enlarged the image to fill the card). The power Poppy sentiment from Lavender set was stamped with SU Garden Green ink. Finished with a Bright Green card base. This image was perfect to use the vibrant colors Purple, Green, Yellow, and Red in this week's Color Throwdown.

Simply Flowers
Hello! Today I am playing with a stamp that I won from Just For Fun stamps some time ago which I have never used. Thought it was about time to ink this lovely Nature's Bouquet stamp. I decided to make a CAS card that highlighted the simplicity of the flowers. On white CS, I stamped with GKD Amalgam, a new ink that I am trying with Copic Markers. Simply colored with yellow markers and edged the white panel with Copic Black Marker. The black gives the appearance of a black mat but without another layer and more weight to the card. Added the Birthday sentiment ( from my stash of stamps) and a base card of GKD Yellow CS. Really like the crisp and clean look of the finished card.

Bouquet of Flowers
Hello! I am enjoying my flowers from our garden (see below) but also enjoy stamping flowers on a card. This card was made for Stamp TV's Monthly Mix Challenge Gray is the New Black. We are to use gray as one of the main colors not just as an accent color. I used Gray CS as my background, Memento Gray Flannel ink for the sentiment and stamping the image, and a dark gray CS for the die cut behind my colored image. Supplies used: GKD stamps and die from You Have My Heart set, Clear EP, Glossy Accents, Copics, Wicker Weave border embossing folder, GKD Moonlight Fog and White CS's. No black used in the making of this card, just gray.

Bee Happy
Hello! I am trying to enter some of June's challenges before time runs out. Making up for some time that I missed making cards lately. And I did have some problems with cards automatically showing on Facebook via Net Work Blogs but that seems to have been corrected.
This card is made with Power Poppy Pure Prairie Bouquet digital stamp. After printing the image I colored with Copics and simply placed on a Green CS mat and a base of Purple CS. I threaded the ribbon through slits and tied into a bow before attaching to the mat. I stamped the Power Poppy sentiment from Geraniums set with SU Always Artichoke ink. Since I wanted a bee on my card I printed just the bee from PP Bees in Foxglove digital set ....fussy cut, colored and glued to the finish card. It would have been easier if I had thought to print the bee with the image of the bouquet but I like doing things the hard way! Thought I needed that Bee with Be Happy sentiment.
Challenges:
Power & Spark Challenge: The June Bug challenge-use a bug on a card.
Really Reasonable Ribbon Challenge: #166 Summer with Ribbon. My flower, butterfly and bee remind me of summer.
All Sorts Challenge: Week 421 Theme is Flower Power
Simon Wednesday Challenge: Simon says Any Thing Goes.
Have a great day! I love reading your comments.
