Lots of Heart

Hello! I am sharing a card that was inspired by a sketch challenge but fits several challenges that I have found this week.  I created this card using several scraps of pattern paper from my stash, a Spellbinders Scalloped Heart die, some old word stamps from Repeat Impressions ink, and clear embossing powder. I arranged several trimmed scraps in a random pattern and attached to a red card base.  I added the heart cut from a shimmery pink cardstock(another scrap) that I popped up on a foam heart. Stamped the words with red ink and embossed with clear EP for some shine.

Card with Heart

Hello!  My card today was made with the My Favorite Things stencil Radiating Rays.  I sponged DOI Fired Brick on a panel of white CS using the stencil and then cut with  a Spellbinders Scalloped Heart die. I stamped a Gina K Designs sentiment in the center with Versamark and heat embossed with Gold EP. I attached the heart to Gold Metallic paper that I recycled from a card that I received from my DH and then placed on a white card base.
I do not have many stencils and do not make many cards with stencils.  But, I was inspired to make this CAS card for the new CAS Stencil Challenge that started this month.

Love From the Heart

Welcome!  I was inspired to make this card after watching a Jennifer McGuire video about Distress Ink resist embossing.  I made this card with some old Flourishes stamps From the Heart and Cherry Blossoms (Marcella Hawley).  I stamped the Cherry Blossoms with Versamark and embossed with clear EP on white CS (not the usual Glossy) and sponged with several Distress Inks. I Case'd her "lopsided" (her words) design using white CS cut at an angle and stamped the sentiments with Distress Inks. I even added some Nuvo drops like she did. My addition was die cutting a heart in this layer and adding a smaller die cut heart. I used a Pink Card base to finish.

Playing with More Glitter

Hello!  I have several digital images from All Dressed Up that I have never used so I printed this one out for a challenge at Fab N Funky Little Girls but after making the card I realized I should have used a Little Girl image but I think these girls may be young enough to qualify.   I decided to use pinks and aquas for my designs adding glitter to the heart and strip with glue and tape. I used Gary's Ultrafine Crystal Glitter.  Added more sparkle to the "girls" with Sakura Clear Star pen and glitter pens.  Finished with GKD Stamp in SU Taken with Teal ink.

On the back of this card, I used my new stamp from BOSSYJOCIE Crafty Goods that I had custom made for my Studio.
Check out her online store hereI discovered her on Jennifer McGuire's blog.

Flowers with Love and Hugs

Hello!  Today I  CASE'd a card by Gloria Lee shown on the right.  I did not use masking as she did but used a die cut heart for the center of the card. I stamped Repeat Impressions Flower Power Background with versamark ink on White CS and heat embossed with Gold EF and colored with various markers.  I stamped the scalloped heart  with Repeat Impressions sentiment and edged with a Gold Metallic Pilot pen  before attaching to a layer of white foam craft and adhered to the card. Used a GKD Green CS for card base.  My card used the same colors with a floral design, the heart in the center, and a similar sentiment.

Beautiful Days

Hello!  I have not been doing much card making as I have to have some cloudy weather before I stay inside.  We have had some beautiful days for the last few days, but we did have a little rain this morning so I have been inside and made this card for the challenge at The House That Cards Built for the WIW Photo Inspiration Challenge F1716 shown below.   I used a Scalloped Heart Die to make a mask and sponged with DI Fossilized Amber, Memento Rose Bud and Gray Flannel Inks on a panel of Water color paper and then placed on a layer of Yellow CS and a card base of Gray CS.  The Repeat Impressions sentiment was stamped with the gray ink.

Shades of Green

Hello!  I started off to make a green card and that is what I got....all green. Not another color in sight!
I used the sketch from Sketch Saturday for my design since it had circles as also in the photo inspiration from Sparkle & Shine Challenge.  I was going to break up the color with a bit of white but I ended using 4 shades of Green Card Stock, Memento Bamboo Leaves and Pear Tart inks, and green sequins.  The Heart was cut from a Foil Shamrock Confetti and added in with the sequins.
Other Supplies: Power Poppy Sassy Succulents stamp set, Cuttlebug EF Tiny Bubbles, Nesties Circle Dies, Sukara Clear Star Pen, and foam dots.

From the Heart

Hello!  I am back with another CAS Card for Valentine's Day.  This features a felt heart with stitching and a bit of bling that I found in my stash.  It is one of 3 hearts in a package that I think was part of a prize.
On White CS, I simply stamped and gold embossed a Repeat Impressions stamp (do not know name) and then stamped and red embossed the sentiment from Flourishes. I edged this layer with Pilot Gold marker and attached to a Red Card Base.  I attached the Felt Heart with pop up foam.

I finished with a heart cutout and 2 score lines. I was inspired by the Flourishes stamps that I won last month.

Shaped Card for Flourishes Timeless Tuesday

This week's challenge at Flourishes Timeless Tuesday is ushering in their new release. We are to "Get in Shape" by making a shaped card. I decided to make a Valentine card combining scalloped heart die cuts and Label 4 die cuts made with Spellbinders dies.  I stamped the white heart with an image from Flourishes  From the Heart Set using Memento Lady Bug ink.  I attached this to the red heart and then  to the card base of white CS cut with the Labels 4 Die. Using the same stamp set, I stamped a banner and sentiment with Versamark and heat embossed with white EP. I fussy cut the banner and popped up with foam dots and added 2 red hearts leftover from another project.  Also added some sparkle with Clear star Pen.

Put Your Heart On It

At Timeless Tuesday, Maki is  challenging us to use heart elements in our card/project.  I decided to focus on a heart sentiment on my card using one from Flourishes' Cherry Blossoms set. I paired this with a pink felt heart from my stash. The sentiment was stamped with Memento Rose bud ink on white cardstock and cut with a Spellbinders die which I attached to a doily. The doily was trimmed in the center to shape as an oval. I love how the shape came out. I attached this to a mat of MME pattern paper that I embossed (Cuttlebug EF Victoria)  and edged with a pink marker (Memento Rose Bud).
I finished with the pink felt heart and plastic flower that was in my stash from some  blog candy. I hope to win some of Flourishes New releases...wish me luck! And I found other challenges to enter my card.

Challenges:
Flourishes Timeless Tuesday Challenge: Put your heart on a card.
Stamptacular Sunday: From the heart-For this weeks challenge create a card that has a sentiment as the main focus of your card.
