Happy Card for Someone Special

Hello! It's a Banner Day in the studio when I used up some of my old stash.  Today I pulled out items from a Crate Paper collection including patterned paper, punch out banners, stick on banners, and a Happy paper clip.  I arranged these on a background of patterned paper with some stick on labels from GCD Studios to create a happy, smiley card for someone special. Attached to a card base of bright blue.  This card was made without the use of any stamps.
Challenges:
Allsorts Challenge: Week 566/7 Something Old, Something New. Used a lot of old.
Double D Challenges: Banners. Used lot of colors and different shapes of banners.

Gingerbread with Heart

Hello!  I never did make a gingerbread house or cookie this Christmas but it's not to late to make a card with gingerbread so that is what I have to share today.  I stamped the Gingerbread couple on Kraft CS with versamark and heat embossed with GKD White EP.  Fussy cut the couple.  This stamp is an old rubber one from GKD.  Fussy cut the couple and popped up with foam on panel of  patterned Paper from the Snowy Day pad by Crate Paper found in my stash.  Stamped a sentiment from Mark's Finest Papers (no longer in business) with red ink and embossed with GKD Clear EP.  Attached to a red card base. To finish, I added several hearts in red and kraft that were leftovers from when I used a Fiskars border punch with hearts.

Challenges:
ABC Christmas: A is for Anything Christmas Goes. Also fits B is for Bingo. Used Patterned Paper, Christmas Sentiment, Embossing.

Thinking of You with a Hello

Hello! I was inspired by the challenge at The Card Concept photo inspiration shown below to create this CAS card to tell someone that I was thinking of them.  I stamped the word Hello using a Flourishes stamp with Versamark and Silver EP on Gray CS that I edged with a metallic silver marker.  I attached a cut out of a typewriter from a Crate Paper kit and slipped in some pink vellum that I "typed" with words using some more Flourishes stamps. Added some embossing of dots along the bottom edge.  Then I added to a shimmery pink card base to finish my Clean and Layered card.
Challenges:
The Card Concept : #61 Pretty in pink.  Inspired by the colors and typewriter in the photo.
Simon Wednesday Challenge: Simon says Thinking of You.

Tag...You're It!

Hello!  I made this tag with some of the Crate Paper  DIY Collection that I had lying on my desk.  I took a precut Tag with Gold Glitter Chevron designs and cut a tag the same shape and size from a Pattern Paper and tied the 2 together with Gold Metallic ribbon.  I added a precut Flower and sentiment from the collection to finish. Easy enough!  I was inspired by the layout, shape, and use of Pattern paper of the tag created by Kelly Szafron  from the current Tag You're It! challenge #50.

Cards of the Same Paper

Hello!  I do not usually include more that one card in a post but today I am showing 2 cards that I made using Patterned Papers and Pre Die Cut Flowers and Banners from Crate Paper DIY Shop Collection.   I am trying to use some of the items from my old stash and I love to create cards from patterned papers.
The top card has an GKD Ivory CS base with a layer of mini floral pattern topped with a flower die cut with Gold Glitter.  I stamped the GKD Birthday Wishes from Wild Blossoms set with Versamark on red Vellum strip and heat embossed with Gold EP.
Challenges:
Time Out Challenges: Challenge #60 CASE  With Your Own Twist ...Card by Therese shown below left.  I used her layout, sentiment on vellum at a slant, and floral theme.  I changed up the colors and background design.

The card below uses the same pattern paper with a green card base.  I added the precut doily banner and flower. The Happy Birthday was cut with Cheery Lynn dies from the top layer so that the words show up in green.

How to Measure Life?

Inside
Hello!  My card was made with a Repeat Impressions verse stamp that I used a portion on the front and stamped the balance of the words for the inside using Memento Toffee Crunch ink. For the layout I used Tuesday Morning sketch challenge with a yellow Card Base and a Layer of Patterned Paper from Crate Paper DIY collection.  The "Doily" was a pre cut design from the same collection and I used a circle die to cut some of the same pattern for the inside.  The sentiment was die cut with rectangle die for the front and a circle die for the inside.   I finished the card with Yellow Satin Ribbon and a button from stash.   The button  was already threaded in the perfect color.....must have been recycled from a garment.

Typing My Thanks

A few weeks ago,  I won the DIY Shop Collection by Crate Paper.  It is so easy to create cards using the great papers, diecuts, stickers and other embellies from this collection.  Today I have a card made with a die cut of a Vintage typewriter paired with letter stickers and pattern paper. Added a button with twine from my stash to finish. Cut a window from the pattern paper with a square Nestie and popped up the cut out in the center on an inset of ivory cs with pop up foam.
I used a sketch from CAS(E) this Sketch for my layout.
