Hello! I am not sure of this card. It kind of evolved along the way. For the Mix It Up Monday Challenge at STV, I was trying to create a scene using GKD stamps from The Northwoods 2 which I had never used. I stamped using Memento markers directly on the 2 images and stamped on white CS. I then stamped again using Versamark and heated with Clear EP. I then colored with markers and Copics but sponged the sky with Summer Sky ink. Added some birds in flight with stamps from Gifts from the Sea and some clouds cut with a die from watercolor paper. Trimmed the image and attached to a layer of white CS and a base of Grass Green CS. Stamped the word Celebrate from Beyond Baskets 2 set.
Challenges:
Stamp TV: Mix It Up Monday Challenge -create a scene with stamps.
Addicted to Stamps and More: #257 Make your mark.
Have a great day! I love reading your comments.

Hydrangeas from the Past
Hello! Today I have a card that I made for The Beach House challenge at Fusion Card Challenge which has both a Photo Inspiration and a Sketch. See graphic on right. You can use either one or combine both in a card. I chose to use both. When I looked closely at the photo, I saw a vase of hydrangeas on the table which reminded me of a PSX stamp that was one of the first rubber stamps that I purchased. I love this stamp of Hydrangeas but I have not used it in a long while. I inked it up with Marvy Markers Bubblegum pink and Periwinkle and Memento Markers Angel Pink, Rose Bud, Pear Tart, and Bamboo Leaves and stamped on White CS. I filled in the images using these markers but did so in a somewhat abstract style. I placed the image on a pale yellow card base with a plaid panel from MME's My Favorite Things pad. Added a strip of the yellow CS stamped with a sentiment from Avery Elle. I finished with Die cuts of Green CS and a yellow brad using Spellbinders Blossom Dies. In addition to the hydrangeas and their colors, I also pulled the colors yellow and greens from the photoOther Challenges to enter:

Chair inside the Garden
At Craft a Scene this month the challenge is to create a scene
from "inside the garden". Some of my favorites things to do are garden and make cards with flowers and nature themes. So I loved seeing this as the theme at Craft a Scene which is becoming a favorite challenge blog. For my scene, I used a very old stamp...not sure how old ...from Stamps Happen by D. Morgan called "Time Changes Many Things"....."But not the joy of your Friendship"is the rest of the text on the stamp. After stamping with Versafine Onyx Black on white CS, I colored with Koh-I-Noor Pencils and Memento Markers. As you can see I used a lot of colors but kept the layout simple. I trimmed the image rounding the top 2 corners and attached to a Textured Green Card Base. This scene was a bit of a challenge to color.
How does your garden grow? My flowers are welcoming the cooler temps.
Thanks for dropping by. I welcome all comments. Theresa

What's Bugging You?
I was going through some digital images that I had printed out and came across this one from Sassy Cheryl called "Digital Hearts and Bees" and thought it would be perfect for her challenge theme "What's bugging you?" I colored the image with Memento markers, added some Clear Star glitter highlights and used some Glossy Accents on the bees and bugs. Cut it out with Nesties Label 4 Die added twine and lady bug button and matted on green CS also cut with Labels 4 die. For the card base I used Glossy White CS which I embossed with Cuttlebug EF Stylized Flowers and highlighted the raised area with Memento New Sprouts ink. A fun card to use to say Hi to someone.

Bunny in a Basket of Flowers and Chicks
One of my favorite Easter stamps is an old PSX stamp that I call Bunny in the Basket....this one is not named on the wood block...only has a number. I usually have made larger cards with this image but thought I'd try it on a 4.25 x5.5". This kind of crowds the image but I finished it any way. I colored with markers from Tombow...if I am using an old stamp, might as well as use old markers too. Will try again and color with Copics. I used versamark pen on the chicks and bunny and heat embossed with clear EP to give some highlights.
Cut the image out and rounded the corners. Adhered to a card base of yellow and finished with sentiment and pink rhinestones.
Challenges:
Let's Ink It Up: Theme is Easter.
Pollycraft Monday: Use old or neglected stamps.
Simon Says Stamp: Use spring colors or Easter creation.
For Fun Challenges: Theme is bunny, anything with a bunny.
C.R.A.F.T. Challenges: Theme is to use animals/pets. I used bunny and chicks.
Do You Stack Up Challenge: Follow the yellow brick road...use yellow papers, ribbons, etc.
Paper Cutz Challenge: Make a card using a hand stamped, digital stamped or Cricut cut image of a bunny, lamb, chick or Easter eggs.
A Spoon Full of Sugar: Use Tons of Texture-at least 2 types. I used dry embossing border at lower edge of card and heat embossing on Bunny and Chicks. Rhinestones also add texture.
Supplies:
Stamps: PSX Image, Hero Arts Sentiment
Ink: Black Versafine, Memento Rose Bud
Assorted Markers, Versamark Pen
Papers: GKD Wild Dandelion, White
EK Success corner punch
