Hello Friend

Hello Friends! Keeping busy in the studio!  I love the Summer Berries set from Power Poppy that I recently purchased with a GC that I won.  I created this card with the Raspberries stamp embossing the image using black ink and clear embossing EP. I colored with Copic markers. Added some texture with Glossy Accents. I die cut with an unknown make and matted with oval of red CS.  Used a green card base.   This card was included in the package that I sent to the Life Card Center.

Bird in the Berries

Hello! This card was made using the Bird and Berries image from the Power Poppy Summer Berries set.  I stamped the image on a white cs panel with black Memento ink and colored with Copic Markers.  To add interest to the design I embossed a frame with layered dies using a rubber mat.  I used a corner punch to round the edges and then attached to a Green card base.  I tried to make the bird a Goldfinch but I think I colored too much black on his head... maybe I should call him a warbler. I may or nay not add a sentiment to the front when I use this card.
Challenges:
Creative Confetti Challenge: Free for all-create anything using Power Poppy Stamps.
Happy Little Stampers: March Anything Goes with Dies. I used the dies for embossing not cutting.

Merriest Wishes

Welcome!  I was playing with Power Poppy digital images from the Merriest Berries set (which I have never used) and came up with a couple of one layer cards. I printed the images and sentiments on GKD heavyweight white card stock which is perfect for coloring with Copics because there is absolutely no bleeding on this paper.  And that makes for a great luxury weight card. I used Glossy Accents on the berries for some shine and texture.   I also used Sakura Clearstar and Gel pens on the thread in the ribbon but those elements do not show well in the photos.  But the richness, shine, and texture shows great in real life on what I think are very elegant CAS cards.

Challenge:
Alphabet Challenge: T is for Try Something Different.  This is a Digital Image that I am using for the first time.
ABC Christmas: A for Anything Christmas.

Berries Picked For You

Hello!  I took inspiration for this clean and simple card from a post on Power Poppy featuring tips for coloring by Amy Shulke.   I printed and colored the same Power Poppy  digital image Berry It  on White CS and colored with Copics.  The sentiment was printed from the same set. I trimmed the image and attached to a Grass Green CS.  Papers are from Gina K.

Harvest of Memories

Welcome!  I have another card for Stamp TV's Mix It Up Monday challenge inspired by the photo on the left.  I chose to use Black and White Gingham ribbon for a bow on this card.  The stamps used are from GKD's Harvest of Flowers (Basket of Apples and Sentiment), A Year of Flowers (Sunflower), and Botanicals (Berries).  I used Memento Rich Cocoa ink for stamping and Copics for Coloring.  Glossy Accents was added to the basket for a bit of texture.   I thought I was finished with just the basket and sunflowers but added the berries after I made the first photo shown below.  When I looked at the first photo, I thought it needed a bit more and the berries was just the right touch needed to complete the card and picked up the berries from the inspiration photo.

Sending Berries to a Friend

Welcome!  Today I am playing with a digital stamp Berry It from Power Poppy that I printed and colored with Copics and added some sparkle with a  Stardust pen. I die cut the image with an oval die and layered onto a Scalloped Oval of yellow CS.  I assembled the card using the Sketch Saturday layout adding a layer of GKD Pattern Paper and a Double layer of Purple Organza ribbon on Yellow card base.  The Power Poppy sentiment from Sassy Succulents was stamped with Memento Lilac Posies and embossed with Clear EP. Loving this berry stamp and the colors in my card.
