Happy Fall Y'all

Welcome!  While I was going through my leftover box of fall items I came across some leaves that I had stamped and stashed away. The maple leaf is an old stamp from PSX and the oak one is Rubber Stampede.  I think I used SU inks to color the leaves before stamping on White CS.  I fussy cut the found leaves and attached to a white panel that I embossed with Darice EF. I stamped the panel with an old SU Stamp with Memento ink.  I inked the white edges with green.  Added this to a tag cut from a scrap of dark red card stock. Punched a hole and finished with a green ribbon from stash that I inked the edges with a Red Copic to tie in with colors of the leaves.

Bountiful Basket

Welcome!  Today I am playing with an old stamp by Rubber Stampede called Bountiful Basket dated 1995.  I think I must have got this stamp from a garage sale many years ago around 2009?  And I do not think that I have ever used it.  I stamped the basket with a light color ink Memento Toffee Crunch and colored with Copics.  This stamp has mostly flat surfaces not line stamping so it is a bit difficult to color.  I am sharing photos of both the wood block and the rubber stamp.  It is interesting how stamps have changed from being on wood blocks and now just clear stamps.  The old wood stamps are a piece of art in themselves and great items to collect if you have the room.

Back to my card....stamped the image on white CS and colored with Copics and did some highlights with Pencils.  Used some metal brads on the basket for a bit of texture and dimension and to use some of my stash of embellishments.  Added a sentiment from Power Poppy (2014) with DOI Vintage Photo and distressed the edges of the panel with DOI Wild Honey and simply attached to a Gold Yellow card base.

Bouquet of Leaves

Welcome!  Fall is in full swing with leaves falling quicker than we can rake! I love making fall cards, I guess because I love the richness of fall colors.  I was playing with some older leaf stamps and fall colors on green Vellum and White CS.  On my card I used a panel of Vellum stamped with oak leaves and some fussy cut leaves on Vellum and CS.  I gathered the fussy cut leaves into a "bouquet" adding some ribbon snippets and a twig.  I assembled the card with a card base of Fresh Asparagus CS and a Pattern Paper from The Simple Things pad both from GKD.  On the Vellum panel I attached the bouquet with foam tape. The sentiment from GKD A Year of Leaves was stamped with Memento Rhubarb Stalk ink on ivory CS.
The leaf stamps used are a PSX Maple Leaf from 2000 and a Rubber Stampede Oak Leaf  which I have owned over 6 years.

Cherry Blossom Time

Today I have been inspired by the colors (pink, blues, green) and shapes (blossoms, dragonfly, circles)  from the photo for Cupcake Inspirations Challenge combined with the sketch layout from Sketch Saturday.   I stamped Rubber Stampede Cherry Blossom with Rich Cocoa ink on a white CS and colored with Pink, Green,  and Brown Copics.  I added a Dragonfly made with Stamp and Die from Creative dies using Nautical Blue ink.
The card was assembled with Embossed Pink Card Base, a layer of MME Pattern Paper, and Green Grosgrain ribbon.  Flourishes sentiment was inked with Rich Cocoa.
