I am trying to get ahead with some challenges rather than posting just before the deadline. I selected Paper Cupcakes' "Sent with Love" digi and their sentiment from "Know in Your Heart" for my Thank You Card. I used a layout from the sketch by Authentique. Colored with Copics, sponged edge of image and finished with yellow ribbon.

There's Magic in the Air: Challenge is "from the heart". Use an image that has a heart in it and your overall card has to be some kind of thank you card or card of encouragement.
Digital Tuesday Challenge: Punch it out. Used Spellbinder Die to punch out image.
Party Time Tuesday: Use a feathered friend.
Crafty Caz Weekly Challenge: Use someting new. Pattern Paper and sentiment are new.

Snowy Card for Challenges
Morning...we had some snow yesterday so I am inspired to make a snowy card. I used digital images "A Merry Little Christmas" and "Christmas Tickets" from Paper Cupcakes. I colored the snowman with pencils and OMS, Copics B0000 and R20, and used a Sakura Orange glaze pen to highlight. Cut the image with Nesties circle die and matted with a circle of Green CS. Used the same Green CS for the base and attached some white CS embossed with Cuttlebug EF Snowflakes. Assembled the rest of card with the tickets, scrap of the green CS, and snowmen ribbon from American Crafts. Added some Red and Gold Rhinestones from my stash.
Think I like the colors that I pulled from the ribbon and challenge graphic.
Challenges:
There's Magic in the Air: Winter Fun with Bling. Nina challenged us to use an image reflecting some winter fun such as sledding, ice skating, a snowman, etc. Then add some bling to your card/project.
The ABC Challenge: F is for Frosty.
Christmas Cards All Year 'Round: Anything Goes
Paper Pretties Monday Challenge: Use ribbon.
CRAFTS and Me: Theme is Christmas
For Fun Challenges: Christmas theme-anything goes.
Do You Stack Up Challenge: Show winter projects. Color graphic must have inspired my color choice?
Love when you visit.
I enjoy all your comments.
Thank you. Theresa

Serving Another Cup of Tea
Sometimes when I make a card that I like, I will make another similar one but different. This is another one that I made using the Paper Cupcake digital image called "Teacup with Roses". This time I printed the image and cut out with Nesties circle die. I colored the cup and roses with Copics, markers, and pencils and did some creative inking and sponging on the edge. I placed the image on a doily for a vintage look and used a mat of lavender digital paper that I printed and embossed with Cuttlebug EF "Kassie's Brocade". I then sanded the embossed surface to distress and bring out the design in white. Used a corner punch on top corners and added a sheer organdy ribbon with bow to finish. The base card is a shiny CS that loks very pretty under the lavender paper. Entering this for a second entry at Sugar Creek Hollow, where we are to create a vintage, shabby chic or primitive card featuring vintage tea pots and cups. Once I see the photo, I think this card cries out for pearls...will add some before mailing.
Challenges:
Sugar Creek Hollow: Challenge is Vintage Tea
Digi Doodle Shop: Challenge is Lavendar and Lace
Allsorts Challenge: Lavender and Lace
The Ribbon Girl : Color Challenge #12 is Lilac and Green.
Lollipop Crafts: Challenge-No sentiment allowed.

Pumpkins on Display
The fall weather that we are having inspires me to make some fall theme cards. When trying to decide what to make for There's Magic in the Air challenge this week, I selected to use this Paper Cupcakes Digi "Elegant Pumpkins". The challenge is to make a shaped card so I used Spellbinders Labels 10 to cut the 3 layers that I used in the card. I colored the image with Copics and sponged some Memento New Sprouts ink on background of the image. Embossed the pattern paper mat with Cuttlebug EF Argyle for some texture. Glossy Accents added to the dish. Used a sentiment from PCC Variety Saying Tickets which I trimmed and added with a green brad. Papers all from stash and scraps.
Challenges:
There's Magic in the Air: Jenn's challenge is to make a shaped card.
Cards for Men: Anything but square.
PaperPlay Challenge: Use Punches and dies. Used Labels 10 Dies and hole punch too.
Digi Doodle Shop's Best: Autumn Colors
Crazy 4 Challenges: Create a card with a pumpkin on it in some form.
What a lovely day here in Ohio today.
I enjoy all your comments. Thank you. Theresa

This Moose Likes Purple?
At There's Magic in the Air, Debbie asked us to use non-traditional Christmas colors and make a Christmas card. This is my second entry for this challenge since I wanted to enter one with this Paper Cupcakes image "Cozy and Bright". I printed the digi and colored with Copics and used a Sakura Glitter Pen for some shine. I cut the image with a Nesties circle and sponged the edge with Memento Sweet Plum. Following Melissa's sketch shown on right, I assembled the card using Bazzill texture papers in purples and scraps of yellow CS. Added some ribbon and purple stones for some bling. Hope you can read the sentiment which is a rub on in silver glitter. Think these colors are very non-traditional for Christmas. Challenges:

Stamp Something: Digi Day..use anything Digi.
