Strolling By on a Bike

Welcome and Hello!  I made this card for the challenge at Double D using some older stamps from Paper and Such. I stamped the Bicycle with Black ink on a background that I made by ink blending with GKD inks Fresh Asparagus and Blue Raspberry on white CS.  Colored in a path with Brown Copics.  Added some clouds with Darice EF. Colored the bike with Copics, Colored Pencils, White Gel Pen and a Silver Marker. For a fun touch, added a flag made with toothpick and tag die cut. Sentiments from Paper and Such.

Biking Through the Vineyard

Hello! I have so much pattern paper and try to use it on cards when ever it inspires me.  Trying to think of an idea to use a Bicycle stamp for  a challenge to use Wheels,  I pulled out a paper from Paper House At the Vineyard pad.  I stamped the image directly on the paper with black ink and heat embossed with Clear EP.  I colored in some spots with Copics and Silver Pilot Marker on the bike.  Simply trimmed the paper, stamped the sentiments,  and added to a Card Base of GKD Fresh Asparagus CS.  Stamps all from Paper & Such set Basketful of Flowers.  Love the scene with the Bicycle.

A Basketful of Flowers

Hello!  Simon Says Wednesday Challenge is Get In Shape.  So, I thought getting on a bicycle might do the trick, but.... all we have to do is make a card that is not a square or rectangle.   That is easier then doing exercises!  I made my card round using Spellbinder Blossom Die and Lawn Fawn Stitched Circle Die.  But I did a bicycle theme with Papers and Such stamps from Basketful of Flowers set. I added some Flower Soft to the flowers in the basket, a bow, and some pink brads to the spokes.
Other Supplies: Pink and White CS, Memento Tuxedo Black and Rose Bud Inks, Pink Satin Ribbon, Green Gelly Roll Pen.

Challenges:
Simon Wednesday Challenge: Simon says Get In Shape.
Crafty Ribbon Challenge: 123 Bicycle with Ribbon
Sweet Stampin' Challenge: Theme is No Designer Paper
Really Reasonable Ribbon Challenge: Challenge #122 is Black and White Plus One Additional Color.  You can have a colored image as well. Pink is my additional color.

Have a great day! I love reading your comments. Theresa

Transporting Thanks by a Bicycle

Hello!  Today I am sharing a card made with Heartfelt Creations papers from Celebrate the Journey Collection and Paper Such stamps Basketful of Flowers.  I stamped the Bicycle and Sentiment on a panel from the paper collection with Memento Rich Cocoa ink and layered this on Red CS and then on to another pattern paper matted with Brown CS.  I attached this to an Ivory Card Base.  The flowers were colored with Memento Markers and a Red Rhinestone was added to the Sentiment. There is some dry embossing around the image but it is hard to see but does add some texture to the feel of the card.

Hello!  I have been playing with a great sketch from Tuesday Morning Sketches and came up with a Travel theme card made with papers from Heartfelt Creations Celebrate the Journey Collection.  The bicycle stamp is from Paper and Such and was stamped on a tag from the collection with Memento Tuxedo Black and Rose Bud inks. I used a Pink Glaze pen on the flowers. Using a shiny Oyster Pearl as the card base, I used a Pink Pattern as a mat, topped that with the Map Pattern, a panel of the Pink Pattern, the tag with image, a tag with printed sentiment, a postage stamp with metal brad, and 2 other brads...one with a gemstone.

To Make a Card Or Clean House

My plan today was to get an early start on some neglected housework but my urge to make a card won out.  I am blaming that on the challenge at City Crafter blog who by the way are celebrating their 4th Birthday.  Their challenge is to CASE one of the cards shown on their blog today.  I chose to CASE the card shown at left.  I seldom Case cards because I am not sure how much to copy....it does mean Copy And Share Everything, doesn't it?
I may have gone too far because I used the layout, theme, ribbon, pennants, twine, flowers, stitching, and bicycle theme.  I even tried to mimic the same pattern papers.  You be the judge of if I over did the CASEing.  But anyway I like the way the card turned out.
Challenges:
City Crafter Challenge Blog: CASE one of 4 projects. I did project 2 .
Happy 4th Birthday to CCCB
Simon Says: Make a Happy Birthday Creation.
Clear It Out Challenge: Anything Goes with a twist of faux or real stitching.
Seize the Birthday: Anything Goes
Craftyhazelnut 's Patterned Paper Challenge: April Challenge -Anything Goes using pattern paper to cover your card

Supplies:
Stamp: Bicycle from Papers and Such, Sentiment from Creative Vision
Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black, Distress Inks Antique Linen, and Tea Dye
Sakura White Gelly Roll for the bike wheels  and Red Pen for faux stitching
Papers: Script Pattern from MME, All other from Crate Paper DIY Shop
Ribbon from GKD and Flowers from Stash
Spellbinder Dies

Now that my card is done and posted, it's time to get out the cleaning tools and supplies.

I enjoy all your comments. Thank you. Theresa

A Basketful of Flowers

Welcome!  Today I am playing with some new items....some that I have not used including a bicycle stamp, some new cardstock, and an embossing border.  I had more than one challenge in mind as I created this card.  I used stamps from Paper Such-Basketful of Flowers and stamped the bicycle and sentiment with GKD Black Onyx on a new Blue Cardstock. I embossed the top with Cuttlebug Embossing Folder Village Border and the bottom edge with Pop Culture Border which is new.  Because I wanted a basket of sunflowers for the bike,  I stamped Flourishes Sunflower wreath from Wreaths of Seasons with Memento Peanut Brittle ink and colored with Copics. I cut and fashioned the sunflowers from the wreath to fit in the basket. Guess I could have used the bike basket as it was but I wanted it to be more bold and colorful. I place the image on card base of Orange Cardstock that I just bought for my stash of papers.
Challenges:

Alphabet Challenge: N for newest stamp.  Not my very newest one but this one is new in the sense it has not been used.
All Sorts Challenge: Use new stash.  Using new Paper Such Stamps, Orange Cardstock, Cuttlebug Embossing Folder Pop Culture, GKD Ink
Craft Your Passion: Summer Flowers
Oldie But A Goodie: Embossing.... The Cuttlebug Village EF and the stamp that I used for sunflowers are older than 6 months.

Papertake Weekly Challenge: Flower Power
