Happy Hanukkah

Welcome to my studio!  I made some Hanukkah cards which I mailed out last week.  I am sharing this one that I made using stamps from Gina K Designs Holiday Wreath Builder set.  I stamped the Star of David and sentiment with Memento ink.  The circle design around the sentiment was heat embossed with gold EP. I added the Gold Dreidel cut from Gold Metallic Cardstock with a Quick Kutz die. Used GKD Powder Blue and White Card stocks.
Note: The Star of David Stamp is missing in action.  I hope it turns up in the studio but I have searched everywhere.  I love the size of this stamp.
Challenges:
Mod Squad Challenge: Build a Wreath Card with small stamps.
Die Cut Divas: December theme is Winter/Winter Holidays.

Have a great day! I love reading your comments. Theresa

Monochrome Challenges

It took me longer to decide on the color and papers than it took to make this card for Joan's Gardens Challenge. Her challenge was to use an embossing folder, something die cut, something dimensional and
a monochromatic card with a splash of color. My splash of color is the copper embossing and ribbon which is very close to the color theme,  but I think is a contrast enough for the splash of color. I embossed the card with an embossed frame and sponged ink to highlight the design. Used a oval die cut for the sentiment that I attached with foam dots. Butterflies were punched from a designer paper and I added a touch of copper EP for the bodies and used a glaze pen to bring out some detail. Shaped and placed with glue dots. My finishing touch was the wired copper ribbon bow which was not in my original plan. Thanks to Selma for her inspiration card where I got the idea for butterflies.

STV Sketch Challenge

Diana's sketch challenge is shown to the right:
I chose to make a Chanukah card using her sketch. I began with a base card of blue on which I stamped with Versamark and heat embossed a sentiment and added a gold ribbon.  I then layered a white scalloped circle and blue circle with a dove cutout attached with dimensionals. Final touch was the dreidel cutout in gold.
Stamp: Rubber Stampede
CS: Bazzill Blue and White
      Gina K Good as Gold
Dove Die: CottageCutz
Dreidel Die: QuickKutz
Nestibilities Circle Dies
Thanks for dropping by. Have a great day!

Another Entry for CCS6

Here is my second entry for Creative Color challenge CCS6 using ruby red, kraft, and creamy caramel. This time I stayed with the rules. I used a QuickKutz embossing folder to emboss red CS and punched some holes so that the kraft Base CS would show through. I wish this folder was just a bit smaller for this card. I cut an oval and stamped with sentiment and added some sponging. Assembled  and have my card. I would add some coloring to the holly and a gold ribbon but staying within the guidelines this time. LOL
Stamps: Creative Clear Stamps- Holidy Sentiments
Cardstocks all from stash-Red, Kraft, Caramel
Corner Punch and Hole Punch
Oval Nestibilities

Glad you stopped by to see my second attempt at this challenge.
