Christmas with a Bit of Coral

Hello!  I am back with another post featuring some Christmas cards made with items from Festive Flourishes Luxury Card Kit that came with an issue of Papercraft Inspirations. The card stock and toppers both have foiled accents and colors of coral.  I finished both cards with a sentiment from Annabelle stamped with Versamark and embossed with Gold EP.

Just Add Ink: #377 Just choose 2 from doily, diecut, designer paper. Used designer papers and diecuts on each of these cards.

Shiny Holiday Card

Hello! I cannot believe today is November 1. And it is to be in the 70's!  Where did October go?  Almost too warm to think about Christmas but I have been playing with some ideas for my holiday cards.  I began with a GKD Red Velvet CS and stamped and embossed a Poinsettia stamp from A Year of Flowers and a sentiment from Joyful Holiday with Gold EP.  Stamps are from Gina K Designs. I added a strip of Clearsnap Designer Gold Foil using scor-tape and attached to a layer of DCWW Gold Foiled Card stock.

Stamp TV: Mix It Up Monday Challenge Seasons of Fun with Foil.  I happened to be working on this card when I read this challenge and it was just right for the challenge.

Non-Traditional Christmas Card

 

Another Christmas Card for my stash.  I used Gina K Stamps from Peace and Joy and Tiny Textures sets for this card.  I stamped twice--once with SU Lovey Lilac and once with SU Tempting Turquoise inks on white CS and then stamped the greetings with Versamark and heat embossed with Gold EP.  I added 2 strips of Gold Foil from Clearsnap using scor-tape.  I adhered this to a card base of Turquoise CS.  Quick and Simple.

Light Up My Christmas

Hello!  I have been playing with glossy card stock to make this Christmas card with Candles cut from creamy white glossy CS on the Cameo using a Silhouette File.  I added a touch of glitter with Gold EP on the candles and Gold Foil on the Flames.  On my background of a glossy lustrous Oyster Pearl CS, I heat embossed  MFP Pine Cone and sentiment stamps with Zing Chestnut EP and colored the image with Copics.   I attached the die cut Candles to this and then on to a Dark Brown card base.   I was not that pleased with my choice of sentiment because the word Christmas is a rather funky font and does not show that well in the photo.

Challenges:
The Shabby Tea Room: Week# 263 Thankful.  I was inspired by the candles and pine cones and the colors of the inspiration photo.  In real life the card has a lot of texture in the embossed pine cones.
Simon Monday Challenge: Challenge is So Glossy.  I got my glossy on with 2 Glossy Card stocks and a shiny foil for the flames.
City Crafter Challenge Blog: Week 286 Getting Ready for Christmas.  I have another card ready for Christmas mailing.
Clear It Out Challenge: Theme: Halloween or Christmas cards. Stash:  Die Cuts.  Use Silhouette Cut File with Cameo.

Shiny Christmas Card

Welcome!  I have a Christmas card today which looks better in real life than in my photograph.  I always have a hard time photographing metallic cards. I made this with Cheery Lynn Swedish Spring Oval Frame die cut in Silver CS and attached to an embossed (Darice Snowflakes EF)  Gold Metallic CS.  I finished with words Merry Christmas cut in Gold Foil Paper with Cheery Lynn dies.  This was a quick and easy design but I think it is elegant.
