Bearing Gifts

Hello! Happy Saturday!    Did you go shopping yesterday?  I spent the day at home and only shopped online.   After many years in retail stores, I certainly have no desire to venture out shopping on the day after TG.

I have a card for Cupcake Inspirations Challenge #337 with the theme of Bears....you know how I love Bears so I had to enter this but time is running out.  I used a Crafty Sentiments Digital image Bear with Sled printed on Water Color Paper and colored with Copics and Glaze Pens and added some Sakura Stardust glitter. Heat embossed some snowflakes since he needed them for his sled. Sentiment from MFP was heat embossed with Zing Chestnut EP. Papers from stash including the pattern from Fancy Pants.

Other Challenges:

Craftyhazelnut's Patterned Paper Challenge: Use pattern paper on card

Have a great day! I love reading your comments. Theresa

Happy Birthday with Pattern Pow

Hello!  I love to play with pattern papers almost as much as I like to color.  This card was made with 4 patterns from Fancy Pants Wonderful Days pad.  I stamped GKD's Butterfly from Hope is Faith set  on a pattern square with Memento Tuxedo Black  and colored with a Memento Marker Dandelion.  I then sponged around the butterfly with Distress Ink Broken China.  Following the sketch from Sketch Saturday,  I arranged sections of the papers on a base card and attached the image.  The GKD Sentiment from Stippled Nature was stamped with Memento Nautical Blue.

Birthday Card with Heart

Hello!  Today I have a card full of  heart, not for Valentine, but for someone's birthday TBD.  I created this project with Nesties Scalloped Heart dies, White CS, 2 Pattern Papers from Fancy Pants, ribbon, and a Pearl Heart.  The sentiment is from GKD Inside and Out set and stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black.
I made this for Cat's Mix It Up Monday Challenge at Stamp TV...Put Your Heart Into It.

My Frosty Is Ready for Winter

Welcome!  With all these cold temperatures I am thinking of snow and snowmen.  I created my "Frosty" using a Heartfelt Creations stamp from Snowmen Melt Your Heart set.  Since this stamp is only the head I added 2 white cardstock circles to build him coloring with a bit of Copic B0000 and added Black"Coal" (black gems) for his Eyes and Buttons. I paper pieced his Scarf and Hat Band and fussy cut his arms from Black CS Scraps. I attached him to a background layered with several Pattern Papers from Fancy Pants pad Timbergrove including some of the printed words from one of the sheets.  The Snowflake paper was embossed with Darice EF Snowflakes. I finished with some die cut Snowflakes from a Glitter paper scrap . Looking at this card,  I can just hear .......  thumpety thump thump, thumpety thump thump, look at frosty go!
