Bearing Gifts

 Hello! Happy Saturday!    Did you go shopping yesterday?  I spent the day at home and only shopped online.   After many years in retail stores, I certainly have no desire to venture out shopping on the day after TG.

I have a card for Cupcake Inspirations Challenge #337 with the theme of Bears....you know how I love Bears so I had to enter this but time is running out.  I used a Crafty Sentiments Digital image Bear with Sled printed on Water Color Paper and colored with Copics and Glaze Pens and added some Sakura Stardust glitter. Heat embossed some snowflakes since he needed them for his sled. Sentiment from MFP was heat embossed with Zing Chestnut EP. Papers from stash including the pattern from Fancy Pants.

Happy Couple

Hello! I know winter is almost behind us but there are still challenges with winter and Christmas themes.  I found this digital image Snowman Couple in my files from Crafty Sentiments and just thought I have to use their happy faces on a card. I kept the design fairly clean and simple.  I colored the image with Memento markers and stamped the Annabelle Sentiment in Memento Lady Bug ink.  I found a pattern paper from a Crate Paper pad that I thought coordinated with my colors and used a Gray Card base.
Challenges:
Winter Wonderland: Warm Wishes - use some warm winter clothing on your projects.  It just happened that this image is from their sponsor this week.  Love their scarves and hats.
Alphabet Challenge: C is for cute and cuddly.  Maybe these snowmen are not really cuddly (guess they'd met if you cuddled) but they are cute and are cuddling together.
AAA Cards: Game #35  Bare naked CAS.  Snowmen are bare naked unless you count the scarves and hats not to be???
Crafty Sentiments Design: Challenge is to be inspired by a Song---thought of  I'm Gonna Be Warm this Winter when I look at this couple

Chill Out With Ice Cream

I am running a bit late with this card for Crafty Sentiments Designs Challenge here to use dies and punches but I think I have time to get it in.  We are to use Dies and Punches. I am using the digi Ice Cream Sunday Harriet which I colored with Copics and cutout with a Spellbinder die and placed on a mat of pink atop a mat of Ice Cream Digi paper, a freebie from GKD.  I used a MS Border Punch Scallop Dots across the bottom edge of the mat and adhere to a card base of pink. The sentiment from Repeat Impressions was stamped with Memento Rose Bud ink.  I had used Harriet (but as a blonde) on a very similar card which I have shown at the bottom of this post.  I forgot I had used the same sentiment and digi paper as I did today.

I am also entering this for the Charisma Cardz Challenge which is Ice Cream....my flavor is strawberry if you want to know the flavor of Harriet's cone. By the way Crafty Sentiments Designs is one of the sponsors here this week.

Summer Is Almost Here!

 Hello and welcome! I have been away from blogging and commenting for over a week because I have been with my Mother in Tennessee who has not been feeling well and I am headed back tomorrow for another stay.  I may not be able to visit my blogging friends for awhile.

I have taken time to make a quick card with this lovely new digi from Crafty Sentiments named Ice Cream Sunday Harriet that is a freebie here.  It is not in their store yet and I am not sure how long the free offer is, so hurry and check it out. Thanks to Crafty Sentiments for their freebie.

My card is made with the digi printed on white card stock and colored with assorted Copics and Pink Glaze Pen. I cut the image and pink mat  with Nesties Circle dies.  My card base is a Bright Yellow CS matted with a light Yellow mat and then a bright Pink mat and then layer of a digi pattern paper from GKD.  I assembled the card following a sketch from Sweet Sunday finishing with a Pink Satin Ribbon and a Repeat Impressions Sentiment stamped with Memento Rosebud ink.
