Buttons on My Tag

Hello!  I have so many buttons in my craft stash and I love when I find any use for them.  I keep saying I am going to make some jewelry with some of them but never have.  But I did use some of them on a tag that I am entering in Tag You're It! Challenge #96 which inspired me to pull out some square buttons featuring flowers and one has a butterfly.  I believe I receive these in a Blog Candy or maybe found in a garage sale. Not sure!  I found a dotted pattern paper with some glitter effects that I thought was perfect as a background for the buttons.  I shaped my own tag design using my trimmer and some corner punches.  Stamped words on a ivory panel with GKD Fresh Asparagus ink using stamps from GKD Tropical Flowers set. Sewed on the buttons with green twine found in my leftovers.  The bit of twine was just enough for the tag.  Finished with a round pink button and the last of the twine for attaching the tag to a gift. (I colored the button with a Copic marker to better coordinate with the colors.) Used foam tape to adhere the two panels together.

Red and Kraft Easy Card

Today I have a card made with Red and Kraft card stocks with no inking....very unusual for me not to use inks.  I was inspired to make this card for the challenge at Merry Monday Christmas Challenges  #264 .....to make a card with Kraft and Red.  I used a Cheery Lynn die for the sentiment and a Creative Dies Poinsettia Nesting die for the flower.  Added a strip of Dotted Pattern Paper from my scraps and an Enamel Dot that I thought brighten up the card.  Love the results and the ease of making this design!
Other Challenges:
Mod Squad Challenge:  It's all in the color-make a card or project using no white or ivory on the front. OOPS! I hope my white dots are not too much.

Stars for Christmas

Today is a rainy day in Florida....a good day to catch up with some posting. I made the card shown with some of the supplies that I have here with me.....using more of the Festive Flourishes Kit including 2 of the gold foiled die cuts and pattern paper.  I added these items with a glitter star (that I had cut earlier and found in some leftovers) on a card base of Metallic CS. Voila!! A Star (card) was born!

A Forest of Trees

I made this card for a sketch challenge at The House That Stamps Built. I flipped the sketch to fit the Repeat Impressions stamp that I used. I did not include a sentiment because this can be used for several different occasions...will add sentiment or verse at the time that I use the card.  Can easily be used for a winter or Christmas theme. Color of paper looks white but is really ivory.

Challenges:

No Matter Which Challenge: Die cuts and/or Punches

Supplies:
Stamp:  Repeat Impressions Pine Forest
