Hello! This card is a bit different style for me. Just playing around with some old and newer stamps to make a birthday card. I used Gina K Designs Inspiration Mosaic stamp for the background design and filled in the "boxes" with sentiments, leaves, stems and some gems. I used the spotlight technique for the roses with leaves in one of the sections. All other stamps from GKD including Old Country Roses, Birds & Blossoms, and Wild Blossoms. Used Memento Tuxedo Black and other colors inks for stamping.
Challenge:

Butterflies in Flight
Hello! Second post today.
I decided to do a quick card for the Mod Squad Challenge Repeat After Me. We are to use the same stamp at least 3 times on our card. I chose to use a Butterfly stamp from Gina K Designs Take Flight. I stamped it 3 times on a White one layer card with Memento Tuxedo Black. To give some color interest, I used the spotlight technique to add yellow to the wings of one image. I added the sentiment from the same stamp set to finish.

Spotlight on a CASE
Hello! I am running late posting my entry for the Less Is More challenge to CASE a DT card. I chose to CASE Chrissie's card shown on the right. I copied the layout and used a Floral stamp for my design. My added touch was using the spotlight technique. The stamps that I used were GKD Say It With Flowers (sentiment) and Flowers are Forever (flower) with Memento Tuxedo Black. I colored the spotlight area with Copics Y13, RV14,23 and Memento Green Marker.Challenge:

Spotlight on Gathering Flowers
Welcome! This card was made using the Spotlight technique and a Digi from A Day for Daisies called Gathering Flowers. I printed the digi twice leaving one in black and white and cutting and coloring a circle from the other image for the spotlight. I used a pink cardstock from scraps and a pattern paper from GKD Berries and Vines paper pad as mats for the image. I embossed the pattern layer with Cuttlebug EF Polka Dots for texture. I finished with a White Cardstock Card base and a Pink Satin Ribbon with the sentiment from Annabelle Stamps Whimsey Flowers stamped in Memento Rose Bud ink. Copics and Markers used for coloring.
Challenges:
Tuesday Throwdown: #155 Use Spotlight Technique
Oldie But A Goodie: Theme is In the Garden - digi has been in my file way over 6 months ..used old ribbon from stash.
Annabelle Stamps: Use polka dots-Dots in paper and embossed also.
Seize The Birthday: Anything goes

Spotlight on a Rose with a Flourish
At Flourishes Timeless Tuesday Challenge, Barbara is challenging us to use the spotlight technique. I made my card with black and white plus pink for a color challenge but got the date wrong and will enter just for Flourishes and a sketch challenge at Friday Sketchers ( see sketch lower right).
I used a stamp from Flourishes that I stamped twice and only colored the section that I spotlighted with Copics. Cut out the images with circle dies and matted on black CS. Used black for the base card and layered with embossed mat of white glossy, and strips of black, pink, and white. Embossed black and white strips and highlighted dots on white with black ink. Used ribbon, bling, and stick on sentiment to complete layout. I will be sending this card to Operation Write Home which you can check out here. I have placed a white liner inside the card so that the user has a place to write a message.
Challenges:
Timeless Tuesday: Spotlight challenge
Friday Sketchers: Sketch on right
Speedy the Cat's Friends Challenge: Make and mail a birthday card for OWH!
Phindy's Place Challenge: Use any Image and make a card for OWH.
Stamp: Flourishes Roses from Calendar Set 2
Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black
Copics: RV 21,23,29, G21
Papers: White Glossy CS, GKD Black CS,
Pink Gemstones CS
Rhinestones: KaiserCraft
Sentiment: Cloud Design 9 Clear Epoxy Stickon
Cuttlebug: EF Swiss Dots, Victoria
Nesties: Circles
I probably would have done other colors for this card but stayed with the black, white and pink since I had finished when I discovered I had looked at the wrong week for the color challenge.

Stamp TV Challenge
This is a good week for card making since it has been a rainy one. Trying to do some challenges now so I can work in the gardens when the rain passes and warmer weather is here.
I stayed close to Vicki's sketch challenge (shown on lower right) this week using the spotlight technique that she showed on her sample card.
By the way, I won last week's challenge and received my prize on Monday. Those ladies at Stamp TV are really quick! I chose "Nana"s Needlework" by Nina. Can't wait to get ink on that.
