More Christmas in July

Hello! As promised I am back with another card made with Block Watercolor Stamping Technique.
I used two Distress Inks,  Aged  Mahogany and Peeled Paint, on  a square block with watercolor panel.   I stamped and heat embossed the Poinsettia with Versamark and White EP.  The sentiment was stamped with DI Peeled Paint and heat embossed with Clear EP. Stamps are from GKD A Year of Flowers and Festive Frame sets.  I simply attached the panel to a card base of GKD Grass Green CS.

Christmas in July

Hello!  I seemed to be stuck on Block Watercolor Stamping.   I will be posting a few more cards using this technique.  Every card has an unique look as you get different results each time.  I blended Barn Door, Peeled Paint, and Forest Mist Distress inks this time on a large acrylic block.  After drying the watercolor panel and tearing the edges for a distressed look,  I stamped and heat embossed the Poinsettia and Sentiment. I placed this on GKD Fresh Asparagus CS and added some dots of Red Berry Nuvo Crystal Drops. Other supplies: Versamark ink, White EP, Watercolor paper, GKD Sets - A Year of Flowers 2 and Festive Frame.

Splash of Sunshine.

Hello!  I was inspired by a recent post by Jennifer McGuire to do Block Watercolor Stamping.  I used Distress Inks Fossilized Amber, Dried Marigold, and Abandoned Coral to blend colors on a stamp block and pressed that on a panel of Watercolor Paper.  After drying, I heat embossed a GKD stamp with White EP from A Year Of Flowers 2.  Rather than trimming them out, I decided to incorporate some accidently dripped spots into my design  when I stamped a sentiment beneath the image. The stamp from Power Poppy Sunny Harvest set was heat embossed with WOW California Sunshine EP ...I sponged the area with DI Coral to pop out the words.  Finished with a Card Base of Yellow CS.

Flowers in a Frame

Hello!  My card today is for the challenge at Power Poppy -Frame It Up- Simply frame your image on a card, decorate a frame or frame your stamped piece as a bit of home décor.  I printed Power Poppy's Camellias Digi on watercolor paper and colored with Distress Inks Picked Raspberry, Forest Moss, and Peeled Paint using a watercolor brush.  I then framed the image with a decorative 5x7 mat that I purchased for 50 cents and have had in my stash forever.  I then placed this in a brass frame so that I can use  it on a side table as a bit of décor.  I photographed the framed image without the glass to avoid glare.

Watercolored Cardinal

Hello!  I used Gina K Design stamps from Peace & Joy to create this card using watercolor paper and water coloring with a water brush.  Using my Misti I stamped the images and then added colors and re-stamped  to give definition. 
Other Supplies: Inks-Distress Inks Aged Mahogany, Barn Door, Wild Honey, Brushed Corduroy, Crushed Olive, Broken China, Memento Cottage Ivy and Rich Cocoa for stamping; Pattern Paper; GKD Grass Green CS.
