Day One of Christmas

Hello! It has been a few days since I posted a card on my blog.  I am taking time to share this Christmas card made with A Partridge in a Pear Tree. The partridge stamp is from a set called "Twelve Days of Christmas" from Creative Stamping magazine which I have had over a year and the Christmas sentiment stamp I believe is by Flourishes which is several years old. I stamped the Partridge with Versamark and heat embossed with Gold EP and colored with Copics.  I really like how the images came out.  Used Metallic Gold Cardstock for the card base to keep a very rich feel to the card.

The First Day of Christmas

Hello!  I have another Christmas card to share in July.  I am using a stamp from a set "Twelve Days of Christmas"from Creative Stamping magazine that I got last Christmas.  This is my first time to use this stamp and I plan to make a series of cards using all 12 days. I was inspired to create this card by the sketch below from Try Stampin' On Tuesday.  I stamped the Partridge in a Pear Tree with Versamark ink and heat embossed with Gold EP on White CS.  I colored the image with Memento Markers and Copics Gold Marker. I trimmed the bird and rounded one corner with a punch. I used a Card Base of GKD Metallic CS, a Strip of Moonlit Fog CS embossed with Divine Swirls EF. Stamped the sentiments with Versamark and heat embossed with Black EP.  Hope you can see the gold embossing in the photo....really pretty in real life.

Partridge in a Pear Tree

Hello! I am sharing another Christmas card made with a Partridge in a Pear Tree die that was free with a purchase from Cardmaking and Papercraft.   The die was cut from Gold metallic CS and Placed on another die cut of an Ornament from DCWV Red Foil  CS.  This went on  Frame cut from White CS with Spellbinders Divine Elegance die.  This was assembled  on a card base of DCWV Shimmer Gold CS and finished with Metallic Gold Twine and a Penny Black Sentiment from Wonder Collection heat embossed with Gold EP.
