Easter Card Continues

Today I have 3 versions of Easter cards using the same older stamps Hero Arts Sentiment and a cross stamp from Inkadinkado.  The designs shown on the left are 2 that I posted some time ago but I just created the one on the right using a fancy die cut oval and dry embossing with Wicker Weave EF on the brown background layer. I did add a sentiment to the middle card after the photo was made.  These will go into the box of Easter cards that I am assembling for the Life Care Center in Tennessee.

Another one for the box. This Easter card was made using an old Flourishes stamp Spring Has Sprung from 2011 designed by Marcella Hawley.  I colored the stamped image found in my Bits and Pieces box with Copics, trimmed it and added to a scrap of shiny pink cs and placed on a layer of Patterned Paper from Joanne's.  Finished with a Hero Arts sentiment stamped in green and a white card base.  Love this cute Bunny group.

Zooming with Binoculars

Hello!  I was playing with the CAS Challenge at CASology to use the cue card Zoom and came up with this entry.   I thought of birdwatching which involves zooming in to see birds up close with binoculars  so I dug out some stamps that I have never used.  I used the Binocular stamp from Repeat Impressions, the Birds (part of a stamp) from Inkadinkado, and letters from an Alphabet Set by Fiskars all with black ink.   Framed the images with a Black CS mat and adhered to a White card base.  Added a bit of red and yellow with pencils to the black and white.

Beginning a New Day

Hello!  In my studio, I came across a forgotten never used stamp set from Inkadinkado ....even forgot where it came from.  Probably part of a candy win.  Thought it would great to use on a card for some challenges.  Stamped Rise and Shine with Yellow ink and then used  Wow Yellow embossing powder to make pop.  The other stamp was inked with Gina K Design Black ink.  Added some of the Yellow EP to the stars. Simply edged the white panel with Black Copic and attached to a GKD Yellow CS.

Happy Birthday Tag

Hello!  I baked up a two layer cake for my tag to enter the challenge at Tag You're It! this week.  I used a cake stamp from Gina K Designs and Birthday Words stamp from Inkadinkado to create a similar look to Rubeena's tag #59 shown below.  Finished with some icing of pink stickles, a pink rose and ribbons from stash.

Sketch Challenge at Retro Rubber

 

Hello Everyone!  I am thrilled to  have again won  the opportunity to be a guest designer at the Retro Rubber challenge blog. The challenge this week is a Sketch Challenge, shown in the graphic above.  The fabulous ladies have asked me to join them for this challenge using a stamp that is at least 1 year or old.    Please visit their blogs to check out their great designs.

 

 

 Since I have been working on Holiday Cards, I decided to use the Sketch with an old 1999 Inkadinkado (discontinued)  stamp of "Snowman Family" from Michael's  by Alma Lynne Designs.

I used a bunch of Copics to color the Family after stamping with Memento Tuxedo Black ink on White CS. After rounding the corners of the image, I framed with a pattern paper and then layered onto another one and a White Card base. I stamped the word JOY with Martha Stewart Alphabet Letters and popped up on the card.

Other Supplies: Versamark, Red EP, Patterns from Crate Paper Snow Day pad and American Crafts Kringle pad, Nesties Circle dies, Corner Punch.

Congrats! Celebrate!

 Hello!  My card today is about celebrating and sending congratulations.  I've selected the theme to be a birthday celebrating with balloons.  The Inkadinkado stamp is a NBUS that I received sometime ago in a blog candy.  I printed the balloons on white CS using a Silhouette file on the Cameo and stamped the words with Memento tuxedo black ink.  I then embossed this with Cuttlebug EF Happy Birthday and attached to a Pink card base. Added some sparkle to the balloons with Clearstar Pen.
