Christmas in July

Welcome!  Another Christmas Card in July!  What better time to make Christmas cards when it is very hot outside.  Today I have used a watercolor background made with Distress Inks Barn Door and Lucky Clover on a White CS.  I added the GKD sentiment with Vesamark and Red EP. The Poinsettia was cut from Red and Green CS's with Creative Dies nesting dies.  Added some sparkle with Sakura Stardust pen and a Glitter Dome. Finished with Red card base.

Red, White, and Blue

Hello!  Used the Splash Watercoloring technique with Distress Oxide Inks on watercolor paper to make a background.  My card today is a Red, White, Blue theme with a patriotic ring.  I might have overdone the splash but I liked the outcome.  Added die cut poppies cut with Memory Box die from watercolor paper scraps colored with same inks. Sentiment from Verve American Heros.

Splash Watercoloring

Welcome! Playing with splashes and water coloring to create a CAS card.  I made my splash background with Distress Oxide Inks Cracked Pistachio and Lucky Clover on Water Color paper and added a pot of Cactus.  The cactus stamp from Power Poppy Simply Succulents was heat embossed with Zing Chestnut EP on Water Color paper and water colored with DOI Lucky Clover, Salty Ocean. and Vintage Photo.  I was inspired by the colors in the Fusion Challenge.  Fussy cut the Cactus and adhered to the background placed on Green CS and stamped with a sentiment from the same stamp set with Lucky Clover.
