Boo to You!

Hello! Switching to a Halloween theme for this card. As thoughts of fall come, I was thinking that I have not made many Halloween cards in a while. I was inspired by the Two Old Bats Halloween challenge which I have never entered but follow their posts. I pulled out some old stamps from my stash of Halloween themes and put together this simple design. I used a ghost, cat, spiders and the word Boo from the Mood Board from the challenge.  I stamped the ghost with black ink and heat embossed with Clear EP and colored with Copics on a white panel. I attached the cat that I had stamped, and heat embossed on Black scrap and fussy cut. I actually had made this cat for a previous project but had it leftover and found in my Halloween stash box.   Added some color to the cat with Gel pens and popped it up on card with some foam tape. I trimmed the bottom edge of panel with Martha Stewart Drippy Goo punch and sponge on a bit of red ink. Finished with Boo stamp with black ink and added some spiders (plastic confetti) hanging from strings drawn on card with black gel pen. Placed the panel on some Orange CS that I had in my scraps. Used up some old supplies from my stash.

Boo! Boo!

Hello!  I had decided not to make Halloween cards this year as I have a stash of them.  But Halloween cards are so much fun to make and I have a stash of supplies.  One of my  fave Halloween stamps is this Northwoods Owl stamp from 2009.   I stamped it on a shimmery gray CS with Versamark  and embossed with a Black Mix EP.  I sponged the moon with Memento Dandelion and Morocco inks and the sky with Memento Paris Dusk and Grape Jelly inks. Added some details to the owl with Gold Metallic and Orange glaze pens. Isn't he the Spookiest Owl you've ever seen? Finished with Black Card Base, layer of Orange CS embossed with Cuttlebug EF Forest Branches, some spooky spider confetti, and Mark Finest Papers sentiment from 2012 I'm Going Batty set.

Challenges:
Retro Rubber: Challenge 49 Boo!  It's Halloween.  Stamps from 2009 and 2012.
Addicted to Stamps Challenge: #133 Embossing Wet or Dry.  Used both type embossing on this card.
Addicted to Stamps and More: Challenge 215 Photo Inspiration.  Was inspired by the spooky moon in the Photo.
Have a great day! I love reading your comments. Theresa
