Rustic Flowers

Hello!   I was inspired by the sketch and photo by the challenge at Fusion.   I used a panel of woodgrain patterned paper and cut out a flower with Memory Box die Poppies.  I placed this on a card base of Coral CS and filled in the flower with green and coral pieces.  Used Copics to add some highlights to the petals.  Finished with a Gina K sentiment stamped in Vintage Photo DOI.  Really like the color combo.

Today I thought I'd share another photo of a flower from my garden.  This one is called Naked Lady....I only had one to bloom this year. This lily produces green, leafy growth  in the spring and dies back by mid summer. In late summer, leafless stems produce elegant, pink flowers.

Have a great day! I love reading your comments. Theresa

The coral pink works well with the plank DP, you've reminded me that I have that die and don't use it as often as I could.
Thanks for linking up at HLS CAS. :)
