Falling Leaves
Hello! Just had to make another falling leaf card using some older stamps (2009) from GKD Signs of Autumn and A Year of Leaves. Stamped the leaves and sentiment with Distress Oxide Ink Walnut Stain and colored and sponged with other Distress Oxide Inks. Did an asymmetrical design with Woodgrain Pattern Paper and Orange card base.
Challenges:
Retro Rubber: Challenge #75 Fall Colors. Stamps from 2009. Inspired by colors and woodgrain of bench in photo.
Cupcake Inspiration: CIC #431 Fall Leaves
Allsorts Challenge: Week 441 Colors of Autumn
Have a great day! I love reading your comments. Theresa

Beautiful!
ReplyDeleteI really like the different colours you've included in your leaves - they're so interesting to look at. The yellow grounding behind them does make them look like they're floating and the woodgrain in behind is a good choice. Thanks so much for joining us at Retro Rubber this week.

ReplyDeleteI knew at first look that distress oxide inks were used! I love the way the inks oxidize and gives such a vintage look to the image. A very thought provoking sentiment!! Thanks so much for sharing with Retro Rubber this challenge! Always enjoy seeing your creations in our gallery!
