Hello! I have been playing again with Oxide Ink Iced Spruce to create a couple of One Layer cards using Colored CS. The top card is GKD Chocolate Brown CS stamped with Power Poppy image from Sassy Succulents and sentiment from PP Lavender set. Love the way the oxide ink pops on the dark CS. Filled in the succulent with pencils in two shades of green. Added a touch of shine to 2 of the words with Stardust pen.
This second card is Black CS stamped with Hero Arts Leafy Vine cling stamp...love the velvety look of the oxide ink. Finished with a Power Poppy Sentiment from Sassy Succulents in the same ink.
Challenges:
AAA Cards: Game # 94 One Layer Card with Colored Card base
Less Is More: Challenges #336 ő One Layer Card with Colored Card base
Tuesday Throwdown: TT351 One Layer

Have a great day! I love reading your comments. Theresa

Super elegant designs Theresa and just perfect embossing against those dark coloured card-bases to create a striking project. Thanks so much for joining us at both Less is More and AAA Cards.
ReplyDeleteLove the effect of the oxide inks on the dark bases, the iced spruce with the brown looks great with the pencil highlights. And the second stamp is so elegant.
