Speedy Fox and Friends Challenge

Welcome! Our challenge at Speedy Fox and Friends this week is to use Score Lines on a project.  I hope you find some new ideas to try from our talented team. I decided to make a circle using a 1.25" x 12" strip of paper and and scoring it to form a circle to showcase the Poppy that I stamped, colored with Copics, and cut out. This is a stamp from the recently released Mark's Finest Papers, a Heinrich Co. called "Welcome Poppies".  I also used the beautifully scripted "Thank You" from the same set. I used another strip of the Pattern Paper along the side of the card. I thought the colors and design of this pattern complemented the Poppy design. Before assembling the card, I scored some lines to add interest and texture.....this such a simple and easy step but adds so much. This is really a one layer card but has so much depth with the use of scoring and the addition of the scored circle.
Stamps: Mark's Finest Papers, a Heinrich Co.  "Welcome Poppies".
Inks: Memento Rich Cocoa
Copics: G20,21,82, R24,27,46
Black and Yellow Glaze Pens for center of Poppy
Papers: Green and White CS from Stash. K&Co Pattern

Please join in the challenge this week for a chance to win a MFP stamp Set. You have until 3PM on Friday June 29, 2012 to post your card. Remember, if you use MFP, a Heinrich Company stamps your name will be entered into the drawing twice.
Thanks for coming by. I enjoy all your comments. Thank you. Theresa
