Hello! Today I am playing with the Creative Confetti Challenge Life Imitating Art to be inspired by a work of fine art. I chose an art print by
Georgia O'Keefe called The White Calico Flower for my inspiration (shown below). I created my design by using Power Poppy digital images Ultimate Poppy (no lines version) and Juicy Straw Berries (just the leaves ). Using Photoshop Elements I manipulated the images and printed portions of the images against a background of green leaves on white card stock and trimmed to fit on a mat of black card stock and then attached to a white card base. I added more gray color to the flower with Copic Markers. The end result closely copied the art work in layout and colors. I finished by attaching a plastic Happy Birthday sticker from my stash. This does not show very well in the photo because of the glare.
I made a second card using the same design but printed it in a lighter tone...do not like it as well as the first try. I again used Gray Copic Markers to add more color. I inked the edges of the image with Black Copic after trimming and simply attached to the white card base. I used a rub on sticker Thank You to finish. So I have 2 cards to add to my stash. And used up some of my Sticker Stash.
