Jars of Christmas Candy

Hello!  It's not too early to begin making Christmas cards and I was inspired by this week's Photo Challenge at Merry Monday.  It made me think of some Peppermint Patterned Paper in my stash and a mason jar die that I have.   I began with a Red Card stock,  added a frame of the PP that I cut with a die.  I filled 2 mason jars(cut from vellum) with Peppermint candy, added gold metallic lids, and tied the jars with Green Satin ribbon.  Finished with a sentiment from GKD heat embossed with White EP.

Summer Time Fun

Hello! Today I am playing with a color challenge and sketch challenge. I have used Repeat Impressions stamps Lightning Bug Jar and Happy Summer. Other supplies: White, Blue, Yellow CS, Memento Ink Tuxedo Black, Summer Sky, Dandelion, Gold Copics, Divine Swirls EF, Yellow Ribbon and Bow, Circle and Rectangle Nestabilities Dies, Glossy Accents, and Stardust Pen.
I hope you can see the sparkle on the bug wings.  
Do you remember the fun of capturing Fireflies or Lightning Bugs in a Mason Jar on summer nights?   For me, that was a few years ago but I do remember the fun.
