Birthday Wishes

Hello! Today I am sharing a Birthday card that uses embossing folders and a focus on the sentiment. I was inspired by the sketch challenge at Tuesday Morning Sketches shown below.  I embossed a white panel with Cuttlebug Happy Birthday EF and attached to a Faded Brick card base from GKD. Added a Wicker Weave embossed strip of the same CS layered with a fancy cut Flower from GKD Watercolor Floral paper and some GKD Ephemera Leaves. Stamped GKD Sentiment from So Many Sentiments with Memento Potter's Clay ink on a flag die cut. Inked some of the edges with Copic marker.  Finished with some sequins from stash.  Another Birthday card for my stash.

In My Heart

Hello! I created this card using Patterned Papers and Ephemera from Gina K. Designs Watercolor Floral kit. I embossed the floral paper panel with Cuttlebug Victoria EF before attaching to a mat of GKD Faded Brick CS and added a strip of another patterned paper with the sentiment from On My Mind and in my Heart mini stamp set stamped and embossed on a strip of the Faded Brick. Finished by popping up a Flower from the Ephemera with foam tape.  Used white card base.

Birthday Wishes

Hello! I created this birthday card using GKD supplies and a sketch from Tuesday Morning Sketches.  I did not get posted in time for the challenge at Tuesday Morning but will enter in other challenges.
Supplies used: GKD Patterned Paper and Ephemera from Watercolor Floral Kit, GKD Stamp from So Many Sentiments set, GKD Innocent Pink and Faded Brick CS, White CS, Veramark, Metallic Gold EP, Pilot Gold Metallic Marker. I like the color combo that I used in this card.... something different for me.

Challenges:

Seize the Birthday: #242 Metallic. Used metallic gold embossing powder and metallic gold marker on edges of patterned paper.

Birthday Wishes

Hello! We are in the swing of summer with sunny, warm days in Oho.  I have taken some time to get in some cardmaking with some new items from Gina K Designs. I recently purchased her latest Watercolor Spring Kit.  From the kit, I used some of the Floral Ephemera and Light Spruce and Medium Spruce inks with a stamp from So Many Sentiments stamp set in the making of this card.  I took inspiration for this design from a GKD Video Partial Embossing with Embossing Folders.  Other supplies used: GKD Innocent Pink CS, White CS,  Cuttlebug Embossing Folders Swiss Dots and Victoria , Scor-pal. ( Since I did not have the color of CS that I wanted for the mat, I improvised one by using the Light Spruce ink to color the edges of a white cardstock.)
Challenges:
Monthly Mix ChallengeCHANNELING GINA. We are to chose one of Gina’s videos and make it our own.
I used her Partial Embossing with Embossing Folders video.
