Cards from Napkins
Welcome! I have been wanting to use napkins as an element on a card for some time but I did not want to use glue or an iron to adhere the napkin to the card stock. I have seen many videos using those techniques and decided there must be an easier way. I decided to use Stick It paper with the napkin....a much quicker and easier way and no messy glue. I simply peeled the top ply from a napkin and laid this carefully to a sticky side of the Stick It paper that I trimmed to 4."x5.25" or whatever size fits best to the design on the napkin. I then trimmed the edges of the napkin beyond the panel of Stick It. The best thing to use for this is a pair of sharp scissors. A trimmer does not trim a smooth edge on the napkin. I then attached this to a base card with glue, tape, etc. For the top card, I inked the edge of the panel with a Copics before adding to the base.
On the bottom card, I inked the edge of the panel with a Pilot Gold Metallic marker picking up the gold text on the printed napkin. I finished with die cut words from Cheery Lynn to create a Thank You card. Textured Green card stock for the bases was from my stash.
This was a quick and easy process to make cards using paper napkins. It would be easy to make a gift box of these cards which I probably will do. I can do 4 cards from each napkin.
The top card uses a large napkin that I have saved for a few years and the bottom card is from a pack of cocktail napkins that I recently purchased.

Caroling Corky Angels
Welcome to my studio! Today I am sharing some crafty items that I have been making with wine corks. The caroling angels are made using beads of various sizes and colors with ribbons, twines, gems, wine corks (collected over the years), and other items all from my stash of items. I assembled the Angels using a glue gun. The hardest part of this project was collecting the corks from Wine Bottles. LOL.
These angels can be used as ornaments, decorations for gifts, attachments for wreaths, or just for hanging around.I also used corks for trivets( not shown) and message boards as shown on the left and for a wreath shown below. I added one of the angels to the wreath.
I will change the décor of the wreaths with each season.
Have a great day! I love reading your comments. Theresa
