Inspired by "The Holly and The Ivy"



Inside card
 I recently won this Flourishes stamp set called "Doves and Holly". This was a fun image to color and I used a picture in a bird book as a guide for coloring. I completed the card to enter into several challenges :

Flourishes Christmas Spirit Challenge FLLCNOEL16: Make a creation that is inspired by your favorite Christmas Carole and use Flourishes stamps. The song that inspired this card was "The Holly and The  Ivy" which you can listen to here. Some of the lyrics are stamped on the inside of the card.

Christmas Cards All Year 'Round: Use 4 of the products from the list  -chipboard, hand stitching, ribbon, inking, stamping, textured paper, metal embellishments, rub-ons, stripes. I used stamping, stripes, ribbon, and rub-ons.
Mark's Finest Papers: Make a card any shape or size other than the standard 4 1/4" x 5 1/2". My card is 5.5" x 5.5".
Stamp TV: Free for All Friday Challenge - For the birds. STVFRIJH3

Paper: Basic Grey Jovial, GKD Cranberry Tart and White CS's

Hard to think of Christmas with temps in the 80's but fun to make this card..

    nice card and the background goes well with it. I have that set too and you did a nice job coloring it.
