I decided to do a card with only a verse and patterned paper. No image.Have made so many cards that are bright and spring like lately, I went more subdued and sophisticated in my design for this project. I selected papers from DCWV's La Creme Mat stack, one of which has flocking. Started with base card of solid, layered with a dotted pattern, layered with strips of floral that are flocked and each matted with solid brown. Topped with square mats (light and dark) and then a circle stamped with verse. Finished with cutouts of flowers from the patterned paper and a ribbon of ivory and gold organza.
