Spring Tulips

Welcome to my studio!  I am having fun revisiting some of favorite older stamps.  Today I have used a favorite tulip stamp by PSX dated 2001.  Isn't it nice when stamps are dated? But some of these stamps make me feel so old.
I stamped the Tulips with Memento Rich Cocoa, which is less harsh than using black ink. I colored the image with Copics-I no longer list all the numbers because I used quite a few markers in coloring this image.  I trimmed the image with a fancy oval die...the maker is no longer remembered by me but the die is a silver color. If someone knows the maker, please share that information with me.  One of the challenges of card making that I enjoy is matching the right patterned paper with an image.  For this design, I chose a pattern from MME Memorable pad and used it with a white card base.  I liked the look of this card as is and decided not to add a sentiment or any other enhancement. Will used the inside of the card to add a sentiment when I decide to use the card.

Simon Wednesday Challenge: Simon says use Dies or Punches.

This is totally gorgeous. Love, love, love the image of the tulips in a bucket and your colouring is awesome. I had a good smile at your story too - it's quite hard to get too excited about listing your supplies so I really liked your silver coloured die! Thanks so much for joining in with us at Retro Rubber Challenge.

That's such a gorgeous image, so beautifully coloured, and the background paper complements it perfectly! A really lovely card. Thank you for sharing it with us for our floral challenge at Stamping Sensations.
