Friends of Speedy TV Challenge

Happy Monday morning! Labor day is fast approaching and that means summer will be over. The challenge at FOSTV this week is Labor Day Cards.  I decided to incorporate the colors Red, White and Blue with a theme of what one might do on the last holiday of the summer in the states.  I came up with this beach scene that I water colored with the sail boat in the foreground. Thought the sentiments were appropriate wishes for a holiday away from work..  I used stamps from Mark's Finest Papers, a Heinrich Co.
Sweet Stamps Blog: Watercolor  -Used distress inks to watercolor background.

For those who enter the challenge at Speedy TV this week, you have a chance to win a MFP, a Heinrich Co stamp shown on the right:

Stamps: Mark's Finest Papers "Silly Shells" and "Welcome Poppies" (sentiment)
Ink: Memento Rich Cocoa, Distress Ink Broken China and Tea Dye
Pencils: Red and Blue
Paper:  White CS, DCWV Textured Adhesive Back
Matte Accents

I enjoy all your comments. Thank you. Theresa
