Birthday Lighthouse

Playing with some challenges using a 2011 Lighthouse stamp from Art Impressions with 2 colors of ink Memento Paris Dusk and Dandelion.  Stamped the image on white CS with the Paris Dusk and added the rays with Dandelion ink and My Favorite Things Radiating Rays stencil.  Used a mask to cover the image before stenciling the rays.

Challenges:
Modsquad Challenge: Light Your Way- This week’s challenge is to make a masculine nautical card.
Addicted to Stamps: #175 For a man or boy
Retro Rubber: Challenge 113 Anything Goes with a stamp a year or older.  My stamp is about 7 years old.
Just For Fun: June challenge use a stencil
The Library Challenge: #35 To the Lighthouse.  Used a lighthouse image and colors from the cover

Have a great day! I love reading your comments. Theresa

The way you've masked to keep the sun rays behind the image is really striking. Nice touch to colour in the windows of the lighthouse. This is a card that fits so well with the nautical and masculine challenges you've entered. I think this is a really great card. Thanks for joining in with us at Retro Rubber Challenge as well.
