Twofer Cards with Tree

Hello!  Today I am playing with Twofer Card Challenge to use the same tree stamp or die on both cards for two different occasions!  I used a tree stamp form GKD Joyful Holiday set to make a Christmas card and a Thinking of You card.  For the Christmas card I stamped the Tree with Versamark ink on White CS and heat embossed with Gold EP.  I cut the image with Spellbinder Devin Eloquence die and attached to a Gold Metallic card base.  Sentiment from GKD Peace and Joy set.
On the second card, I used the tree stamp to make a background by stamping the tree several times on white CS using Memento Rhubarb Stalk ink. I found a pattern paper in my stash that picked up the flourish design of the stamp and the color that I used.  That became the card base.  Finished with popped up die cut words that read "Thinking of you friend", stamps from GKD Tropical Blooms set.

What a pretty flourish tree that is, Theresa! It works great as a stylized Christmas card and makes an awesome background design for your TOY card! I love the sediment and the fact that you found pp that so perfectly goes with the design of the tree for the card base and you used an ink color to match!! Thank you so much for joining in Twofer Card Challenge #7! Hugs, Darnell
