Purple Roses and Ribbons

Hello!  This card was made for Stamp TV Mix It Up Monday Challenge Just The Month from Cat. We are to make a card using the color  that corresponds to our month of birth on the list posted.  The color that I am to use is purple, not my most favorite color.  I used GKD Old Country Roses and stamped a trio of roses with  3 step stamping and various shades of purple.  The sentiment was stamped with Memento Grape Jelly ink.  Finished with 2 shades of purple grosgrain ribbons,  purple sequins, and purple card base. (Sequins are all purple but appear differently in photo.)
Other Challenges:
Simon Monday Challenge: Simon says Monochrome
Crafty Sentiments Designs: Anything Goes Challenge
Really Reasonable Ribbon: Challenge 174 anything goes with ribbon.

Have a great day! I love reading your comments. Theresa

A very effective use of the monochromatic theme - layering stamps let you create so much interest while keeping the tones in one family. Pretty card.
