Three of a Kind

Welcome! Summer brings butterflies so what better way to send birthday wishes than a trio of these lovelies. Using a Butterfly stamp from GKD Birds & Blossoms set, I inked the stamp with Memento Cantaloupe and Black markers and stamped 3 times on a panel of white CS.  I added some dots to the wings with a Metallic Copper Gelly Roll pen.  I used paper from Graphic 45 Secret Garden Pad for the mat and layering. The GKD sentiment from The Northwoods 2 set was stamped with Versamark and heat embossed with Copper EP.  I am pleased with the color combo.....I seldom use purple or lavender but like the results here.
Tuesday Morning Sketches: #410 Sketch Shown below.  I used a Rectangle Die for the white panel.
Mod Squad Challenge: Mark It Stamp- The challenge this week is to color your stamp with a marker, and then stamp. Use Memento makers on the GKD butterfly stamp.
Stamp TV: June Release Challenge: Create a Card using the same stamp three times.
Craftyhazelnut's Patterned Paper Challenge: July challenge-anything with patterned paper.

Have a great day! I love reading your comments. Theresa

Those butterflies look so pretty with the way you stamped them and added just the right amount of sparkle! I like the copper embossing on the dsp too - great look! Thanks for joining us at the Tuesday Morning Sketch challenge - hope to see you again soon!
