New Technique

Hello! Today I am playing with a Carved Wood Background technique that I saw here on Stamp TV.  You make a wood grain design with scoring and inks and then emboss with an EF and then wipe with white pigment ink to get the final result.  I went with a Time Theme on this card combining a Clock EF with a GKD Verse.  I used a sketch from Tuesday Morning Sketches.
Supplies: GKD White, Ivory, and Brown  CS; Stamp-Gina K Say It With Flowers; Inks-Memento Rich Cocoa and Desert Sand, Brilliance Moonlight White; Darice EF; Ribbon and Button from stash.

Challenges:
Stamp TV: World Cardmaking Day Challenge 1- Make card with a background using Carved Wood Technique.
Tuesday Morning Sketches: Sketch #371
Crafty Sentiments: Anything Goes
Retro Rubber:  Challenge 48 Tie Me Up- use ribbon, twine or lace with a stamp a year or older. The GKD stamp is more than 5 years old.

Have a great day! I love reading your comments. Theresa
