Flowers for a Birthday

Hello!  January brings a need for birthday cards so I am playing with some new items to create.  I  recently won a prize from One Happy Cut and selected some Memory Box dies including this one called Splendid Clarkia. I cut the flower from Green, Red, and a bit of Yellow CS and assembled it on a layer of Ombre Pattern Paper.  I edged this layer with a green marker and attached to a Red layer and then to an Ivory card base.  I added words cut with Cheery Lynn dies.  The touch of Wink of Stella on the flowers does not show in the photo but adds a bit of glitter to the card.

Challenges:
Mod Squad Challenge: Anything goes with at least One Die Cut. Flower die is from One Happy Cut.
Die Cut Divas:  Challenge is new technique/die/stamp/colors, something you're using or trying for the first time.  Using new die for the first time.
Allsorts  Challenge:  What's New?  The die is new and used for the first time.
C.R.A.F.T. Challenge: #344 Any Thing Goes

Have a great day! I love reading your comments. Theresa
