Have a Happy Day

Hello!  Today I bring a bit of bright orange and spring with my card.   I believe this floral stamp is from GKD and the sentiment is from Power Poppy.  My CAS design was simply colored with Memento markers and the sentiment inked with Memento Cantaloupe.  A layer of Orange CS frames the image above the Cream base.

Butterfly on Kraft

Hello! I am posting a one layer card made with Kraft CS using 2 GKD Stamps from Hope Is Faith and Take Flight and Memento Tuxedo Black Ink.  I colored the butterfly with Memento Dandelion marker because a Copic would bleed through.   I then wrapped  Baker's Twine around the center and tied a bow.  This photo was not that great but hope you see the essence of the card.

Happy Birthday with Pattern Pow

Hello!  I love to play with pattern papers almost as much as I like to color.  This card was made with 4 patterns from Fancy Pants Wonderful Days pad.  I stamped GKD's Butterfly from Hope is Faith set  on a pattern square with Memento Tuxedo Black  and colored with a Memento Marker Dandelion.  I then sponged around the butterfly with Distress Ink Broken China.  Following the sketch from Sketch Saturday,  I arranged sections of the papers on a base card and attached the image.  The GKD Sentiment from Stippled Nature was stamped with Memento Nautical Blue.

Challenges:
Stamp TV: Mix It Up Monday-STV15MON7
Backgrounds Challenge-You have to use  at least 3 different patterned papers and / or

Birthday Card for Hannah

Hello and welcome!   My great niece is 4 years old in March and loves Hello Kitty. I made this card for her using my computer to print images, the inside message, and the back  and used the Cameo to cut words and numbers.  I printed the front image twice and cut out the bow and dress and popped up to give a  3D effect.   Added sequins to front.......what 4 year old does not like bling?   The inside message was printed with a Hello Kitty font.   The inside Kitty was cut with the Cameo from a file using color cardstocks.

A CAS Hello!

Hello! Stopping by with a quick  card for the Challenge at CAS(E) this Sketch. I made this with a Navy card base and added a cut out made with a geo-die on Pink CS with a White back which showed when the die is folded.  I stamped a Winnie and Walters bold sentiment with Memento Nautical Blue on White CS and fussy cut and added to die cut.  I thought this was a dramatic card using the dark base.

Candy Canes and Corners

Hello!  Yes I am back to Christmas cards.  I have become addicted to some of the Christmas challenges and enjoy checking them out weekly.  This card combines 2 of the challenges using Candy Canes and decorative corners.   I had to use a digital image of  Candy Canes....no Christmas stamps here with me... and printed the sentiment on my computer using a Candy Cane Font which I downloaded for free.  I tied some Bakers Twine to the canes and added some above and below  the sentiment. The top corners were decorated with sections cut from  a red doily cut with a Cheery Lynn die which I had in a bag of leftovers.

Use Water Challenge

Hello! This is my second post today.
The challenge at Mod Squad this week is to include "water" on your card. It could be inked, stamped, or actual water.  This was a bit of challenge for me as I wanted to use a GKD stamp because they are the sponsor.   I have limited stamps with me in my studio away from home and certainly none with water.  So I came up with the idea to have butterflies about to puddle on the water colored on a piece of watercolor paper.  I used GKD Butterfly Border from A Year of Borders and a GKD sentiment.
Supplies:
Stamps: GKD
Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black and Dandelion Marker, Distress Ink  Broken China
Papers: Watercolor, Blue and Yellow CS
Water brush

I Love You in French

Morning! Valentine's Day is just a few days away!  I have another card full of Love and Hearts for some more challenges. My card is inspired by the layout from CAS(E) This Sketch! I used a 3D cupcake precut and preassembled from a package prize.   I used a strip of Pattern Paper MME Lost & Found Pad with hearts and a cupid.  I attached that to a Ivory Card Base, stamped Flourishes sentiment from Wild Roses set with Memento Espresso Truffle ink,  and added the premade Cupcake Die cut.  I like the way the colors in the pattern and cupcake coordinate and love the design of the sentiment.

Dahlias for My Darling

Hello!  Over a year ago I purchased some Susan's Garden Dies with a gift certificate prize  and have not used but one of them.   I decided it was time to learn to use and make more flowers.   I used Green and Pink Cardstock with the Dahlia dies and a Copic pen to shade the petals.   I'd like to get some Pan Pastels if I start making a lot of flowers.  I cut the petals and leaves and shaped and assembled them following a video by Susan.  it was quite easy and with practice I should improve and do faster.  I made the card using a Tuesday Morning sketch, Pink Card Base, layer of unknown pattern paper from my stash, a bit of lace, and white Sprinkles colored with Copic Marker.  The Repeat Impressions sentiment was stamped on Pink Scrap in Memento Bamboo Leaves ink ..... also edged this layer with the ink.

Love and More Hearts

Hello!  I have more hearts and love today. The focus of my card is made with a file from Silhouette for a Print and Cut Card by Pebbles in my Pocket.  Even though I do not have use of my Cameo in Florida,  I can use the Silhouette Studio to print designs which I did here on white CS and trimmed to fit on a Pink Layer and a Red Card Base.  I then embossed the layer with Cuttlebug EF Divine Swirls.  In my leftover scraps I brought with me, I found a strip of hearts already punched and it fit on the lower edge of the card.  This card was inspired by the photo shown on the right for Addicted to Stamps Challenge.  Even though no stamps were used in the making of my card, I will enter it in their challenge.....nothing in the rules states that a stamp must be used. At least that is the way I see it!

An Angel with Hearts

Another Valentine for some of the many Valentine and Love Challenges.  For this one I used A Day For Daisy digital image free this week here.  I printed the image and colored with Copics and used some Wink of Stella for shine but I just cannot get the shine to photograph. I kept the card CAS with a card base of Pink CS with a layer of Red CS and then the image edged with a gold marker.  I stamped a Repeat Impressions sentiment twice with Memento Lady Bug ink and cut with a Nesties scalloped heart die and attached with foam dots.  I used an asymmetrical layout to take advantage of the falling hearts.
Challenges:
A Day for Daisy:  Challenge #114 Valentine-y...use A Day for Daisy image.
The House That Stamps Built: Color Challenge Red, Pink, White
Fussy and Fancy Friday: #131 Things with Wings
Addicted to CAS: Hugs and Kisses

I had time to do some carding as it was rainy and cloudy here in Florida.

Lego Birthday

Hello!  Today I am sharing a fun Birthday Card that I made for my great-nephew who is a Wiz building with Legos.  Using Silhouette files with my Cameo to print and cut images and number, the digital papers purchased from Etsy store, and Photoshop Elements I created this project.  I even used a hole punch to create dots that I glued on the Lego blocks in the paper to create some dimension and texture. I also used Glossy Accents on the image for some shine and popped it up with foam tape.  I downloaded a special Lego Font for the sentiment and verse inside.

Challenge to enter:
Seize the Birthday: Anything goes.

Used Blue, White, Yellow Cardstocks and Lego Pattern Paper.
