Beautiful Days

Hello!  We have had some beautiful days here in Ohio....perfect for working outside and playing in the yard and garden.  I made this card for the WIW Color Challenge at The House That Stamps Built but not so happy with the photo shown here.  I just could not get the colors to show as they are in real life.  I fussy cut  butterflies stamped on orange CS with Red ink using Repeat Impressions Butterfly stamp. Added a bit of gray to the wings with a pencil. Using a Gray Card base, I added a layer of Red CS and then an embossed layer of Orange CS. I stamped the Repeat Impressions sentiment and popped on the Butterflies with foam tape.

Have a great day! I love reading your comments. Theresa

Theresa, this is gorgeous! These weren't easy colors to work with but your butterflies are a perfect stamp to make that happen. Great fussy cutting too.
