Painterly Effect

Hello!  This a card playing with a digital image from A Day for Daisies called Baby Cherry Blossoms.  I took liberty in turning the image so the baby showed better on the card.  I simply printed it on water color paper and water colored with Distress Inks Picked Raspberry, Squeezed Lemonade and Crushed Olive.  I added paint splatters  (need to Practice that technique a bit) and some shine with a Clear Star Pen.  Place this on a mat of pink CS with a row of embossing using Cuttlebug EF Borders .  The card base is a Olive Green CS from stash.  Finished with a twist of green organdy ribbon attached with a glue dot. The sentiment from Power Poppy Lavender set was stamped with DI Picked Raspberry.

A Day for Daisies Challenge: Use a "Painterly Effect" 1. Of, relating to, or characteristic of a painter; artistic.
2.a. Having qualities unique to the art of painting     b. Of, relating to, or being a style of painting marked by openness of form,
with shapes distinguished by variations of color rather than by outline or contour.
