Let's Catch Some Lighting Bugs

Hello!  Do you remember catching lighting bugs in a jar when you were a kid? I do.... many years ago.  It was a fun thing to do on a summer night after dark.  I doubt if kids do that activity now.
I have had  the Summer Series Stamps by Repeat Impressions for awhile but never inked the jar and bugs.  I thought this challenge sketch was a perfect time to make a buggy card. Added some sparkle with a Clear Star pen on the wings and in the jar and a bit of Gold Glitter CS and some rhinestones.

Challenge:
What If? Wednesday: Sketch #J2514
Simon Wednesday: Anything Goes
Fussy and Fancy Friday: Theme is Summertime
Supplies:
Stamps: Repeat Impressions Jar, Bug, and Sentiment from Summer Series
Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black and Distress Ink Wild Honey
Copics: Y000,11,13
Clearstar pen, Silver Metallic Pen
Papers: Bright Yellow, Black, White and Gold Glitter CS
Rhinestones recycled from a dress

I enjoy all your comments. Thank you. Theresa

Such a fun summer card. Love the shading around the jar. Thanks so much for playing along with the Anything Goes Challenge over at the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge Blog this week :)

Such a memory grabber. Beautifully done. Alas with low cut grass and little or no wild areas in town the lightening bugs are almost non existent in my area. It used to be so thick with them it took almost no effort to get a jar full. We always turned them loose again. TFS
