Blue Bird in a Cage

I made this card last week for Joan's Challenge. and almost forgot to post. Here is what you need to do for Joan's Gardens Weekly Challenge #29:
  • Make a Thank you card
  • Use purple and green
  • Use something to do with music
  • Use a bird
I started with a Pattern Paper placed on card base of purple. I embossed a glossy white strip with Cuttlebug "Allegro" and sponged with Distress Ink Peeled Paint and attached to top.  Then I attached Bird Cage with a Blue Bird with pop up dots and tied on sentiment with purple ribbon.
Supplies:
Stamp: Bird from GKD "Stippled Nature
and sentiment "Elegant Flowers"
Papers: White Glossy CS, DCWV "Flower Shower" Pack, Bazzill Purple CS
Ink: Distress Ink Peeled Paint, Memento Blue for Bird
Dies: Marianne Design Bird Cage, Nesties Scallop Oval
Cuttlebug EF Allegro
Purple Satin Ribbon

I enjoy all your comments. Thank you. Theresa

The bird cage die cut is so pretty! Makes for a beautiful card, along with the musical embossing folder.
