Happy 4th Birthday to Flourishes

Flourishes is lighting the candles and getting ready to sing to honor their fourth birthday! And, as a way to celebrate, I’m happy to say I was hand-picked to help them have a bit of a party as a designer for their customer appreciation hop! The only challenge here was to create a card or project using my favorite Flourishes stamp set. Later on in this post,  I’ll tell you how you can win some wonderful Flourishes goodies too!  But first my card with my favorite Flourishes Stamp ( at least for the moment...it changes with each great new release.)

Flourishes are my favorite stamps especially floral ones illustrated by Marcella Hawley (was not paid to say that) and it was very hard for me to select my favorite stamp for this hop but I chose "Zinnias"  because they are my fave summer flowers.  These stamps are so easy to color and zinnias grow in so many, many colors----the color combinations for these stamps are endless.

I stamped the Bouquet Image with black and colored the flowers with Copics and added some yellow glaze. I paper pieced the bowl and lid with patterned paper and applied Glossy Accents for the glassy look.  Layered the image on a green doily backed with pink card stock. Card base is pink matted with solid green and a floral print mat that coordinates with the colors of the Zinnias. Finished with a sentiment tag "tied" on to the bouquet and a vine with dew drops flowers along the bottom.  I finished the inside of the card shown below. My card is a 5.5" square with plenty of room to showcase the stamp. It is so easy to create with this beautiful stamp set.

Supplies:
Flourishes "Zinnias" shown on left
Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black, Bamboo Leaves
Copics in Pinks and Green
Sakura Glaze Pen
Papers: BasicGrey Sweet Threads
              Bazzill CS
              White, Greens from Stash
MS Vine Trim Punch
Cheery Lyn French Pastry Doily Die
Nesties Label 4
Dew Drops and Twine
