Glitter, Glitter, Everywhere!

I love making cards with stamps by Flourishes and I made this one for several challenges. For Flourishes Timeless Tuesday Challenge FTTC92, Barbara challenged us to use glitter which I do not do often except to use a glitter pen. But for this I brought out the jar of glitter as well as the glitter pen.   Stamped this beautiful Amaryllis and colored it with Copics and a white pen and highlighted with a glitter pen. (Click to enlarge to better see the glitter.)I cut with square nesties and added brads. Attached to a green mat which I glittered. Used Ivory card base and added a green pattern strip edged with glitter which I layered with a sheer ribbon with metallic stripes. The other pattern mat-the plaid-was embossed for texture. I used the layout from a sketch from Papertake Weekly.  Finished with Birthday Sentiment.

Challenges:
Flourishes Timeless Tuesday Challenge FTTC92:     Use glitter.
Papertake Weekly: Sketch Challenge shown on right.
Kaboodle Doodles Challenge: Recipe 1-2-3
1 solid paper, 2 patterned papers, 3 embellishments
My 3 embellies are ribbon, brads, and glitter.
Crafts and Me Challenge: Use glitter. Yes, I am wearing it too.

Stamp: Flourishes Calendar Set 3 by Marcella
            GKD Sentiment-Fanciful Tags by Nina
Ink: Memento Rich Cocoa and Rhubarb Stalk
Copics: R20,22,24 YG95,99
Opaque White Pen
Sakura Glitter Pen
Papers: Basic Grey Jovial-2 Patterns
            GKD PL Ivory CS
Nesties Squares
Cuttlebug EF Herringbone
Ribbon from Stash
Basic Grey Brads
Gary's Glitter - Crystal -like this because it takes on any color

Now I have to go and clean up the glitter that is everywhere.
I may regret having opened that jar!
Thanks for stopping by! Theresa

Glitter is a wonderful accessory for a girl! Wear it proudly! LOL

That was clever to use glitter on the paper mat behind your amaryllis image. ;) The ribbon, too, has a nice sparkle to it.
