Happy Colors Make a Happy Card

Received some new GKD stamps this week and was anxious to use. Carla's color challenge at STV was purple and green plus one light neutral and one dark neutral. So I pulled out my new Botanicals stamp set and some Chocolate Brown, Ivory, Creme de Menthe and Violet GKD Pure Luxury Cardstock  and set out to make this card.  Brown is the base (looks black in photo) with mat of ivory and mat of green embossed with CB EF Diamond Plate which I won last week from Crystal. Stamped background on ivory with Memento New Sprout and then stamped flower with SU Eggplant and Memento Bamboo Shoot inks. Matted this on Lavendar. Sentiment was stamped with SU Eggplant ink and cut with Nesties Labels 9. Added some ribbon and couple of purple brads.
So much fun to use new supplies and stamps.
Thanks for dropping in.

You are so good at colour co-ordination and combining the texture with the most elegant stamps!
